This spacious, well-appointed log lodge in quaint Harbor Springs is the perfect home for your Northern Michigan vacation. Built by Timber Wolf Handcrafted Log Homes in 2005, it melds luxury with rustic...beautifully. With 4,500 square feet, you, your family and friends can feel comfortable and relaxed. This is truly one of a kind custom log home that is ideal for entertaining and family gatherings. Featuring an open floor plan, the spacious eat-in kitchen boasts cherry cabinetry, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, slate flooring and an island that seats 4-6 guests. Main floor master suite has a walk-in slate shower and private balcony. 5 BDR, 3.5 baths in the main house, plus a carriage house with full bath, wet bar and fridge above the two-car heated, attached garage. Walkout lower level with bar, full size fridge, family and exercise rooms. Outdoor living space is beautifully landscaped and features a large fire pit for year round use and several outdoor decks. All this within the coveted ski, golf and lakefront community of Harbor Springs.
Area Information
Our beautiful log home sits on 4 wooded acres. We are located one mile from Boyne Highlands Resort, close enough to cross country ski, snowshoe or bike there. There is an expansive view of Nubs Nob Ski Resort and a nighttime view of the 'Lights of Nubs'. Fireworks of Boyne are visible from our fire-pit. New Years Eve is the best time to light a bonfire, serve some hot drinks, let the kids sled, roast marshmallows and watch the fireworks! Snowshoes, Cross Country skis, sleds, beach toys and floaties available for use. We suggest visiting the Petoskey State Park or Sturgeon Bay for beach going. Downtown Petoskey, Harbor Springs or Bay Harbor all boast first class shopping. Boyne Highlands offers skiing, tubing, golfing, zipline adventures, horseback riding, dog sledding, several restaurants and bars. The Outfitter in Harbor Springs rents both summer and winter recreational gear. Fall color tours and antiquing are also among the reasons that people love to visit Harbor Springs Area.
