Vacation Rental Description

We offer ONE bedroom rustic cottage with a double bed made up with bed linen and down duvet. An extra single bed with linens is tucked into a corner of the back porch. Towels and our own handmade soap are provided in the bath with a sit in tub (shower over), toilet and hand sink. Small living/dining, television with DVD player and VCR. A selection of books and discs/videos to “wile away the hours” if that is your choice. Kitchen area with full size electric stove, microwave , and fridge. High chair and travel baby cot by request. Small enclosed private garden to the front of the property with seating and a BBQ, as well as a fire pit to enjoy a night under the stars. (Use of owners garden with above ground 18' pool available between 1PM and 5PM). Electric heating included. Regret no smoking in the cottage. Up to 2 well-behaved medium-size dogs Are welcome. Parking.

Our small “self catering” cottage is set in an idyllic hollow on North Mountain, Nova Scotia. A freshwater mountain brook runs just moments from your door. A quiet setting for the “three R’s”... reflection, relaxation and renewal. We offer you leisurely strolls though our woods and fields . Our gravel roadways are perfect for walkers or cyclers . The cottage is two km from the the beautiful rugged shoreline of the Bay of Fundy. Great for rockhounders (rock shop .5km from cottage), picnics,and sunsets!!
The nearby Annapolis Valley offers golf (15min), great dining & live music (15-60 min), zoo (20 min), museums (15-60 min) ,national historic sites (60 min), boutique shopping (40 min), theme park/wildlife park (60min).....
