Welcome to VonSeda's Hardwood Hideaway. This beautiful log cabin vacation rental is located in Hardwood, northern Michigan. The cabin is fully furnished and situated on 400 feet of beautiful sandy shoreline on the Hardwood Watershed. You will find an amazing view, and many opportunities to enjoy nature and recreation as well. This is the perfect place for your u.p. Michigan cabin vacation and all outdoor enthusiasts! Our cabin is very cozy and spacious, and will be your home away from home. The cabin is absolutely warm and welcoming. There is beautiful hardwood flooring throughout, and is tastefully decorated as well. There are 5 beds, 2 king, 1 queen, 2 full & 1 futon, and has 3 bathrooms. You will find a fantastic jacuzzi tub in the lower level bathroom. The lower level has a pool table, dart board, wet bar, & nice family room to watch the games & have a great view of the water.
A large walkout deck has a nice gas grill with 2 tables. The grounds facing the water has 2 picnic tables with a charcoal grill as well- sure to suit all of your outdoor grilling needs. There is a firepit with seating facing the water to take in those great evening campfires. So much to do and enjoy!
The cabin is located in a very private location, but within a short drive to Norway, Iron Mountain, or Escanaba MI. Here you can do as much or as little as you like. Activities include, but are not limited to: Whitewater rafting, Snowmobiling, Atv-ing, skiing, fishing, hunting, swimming, pontoon boat rides, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, shopping, movie theater, restaurants, casino, mine tours, plus much more! You could also take a day trip to the shores of Lake Michigan. You will find we are located in an area that is absolutely beautiful and is a nice escape from city life. You and your family will love it here.

If you want to escape from it all, then enjoy a trip to VonSeda's cabin in Michigan's beautiful U.P. Here you will find many opportunities to enjoy nature and recreation as well. This area has miles and miles of snowmobile and ATV trails for your riding adventures. You can also take a short trip into town and find all of the restaurants and shopping that you desire. There are two ski hills nearby- Norway Mountain and Pine Mountain, as well as many opportunities for snow shoeing, and sledding. If you are looking for summer activities, you can enjoy swimming, take a paddleboat or pontoon ride, kayak, canoe, play on the sandy beach, or take advantage of the excellent fishing. Take a nature hike, and visit Piers Gorge to see waterfalls! This is such a peaceful and inviting place for family and friends to gather. Pack your suitcase and stay awhile! What a great vacation spot to get away from it all. We spent the week fishing (daughter caught 17 fish on Thursday - from the dock), paddling around the lake, biking, swimming, and sitting by the fire. Everything was terrific. Great for the kids. Plenty of wildlife and nature to interact with. Iron Mountain and Norway are nearby for supplies, and there are maps to local waterfalls and trails. The yard is huge, so we set up all the games we had at once. The house is well-appointed, very very clean, and very comfortable. The cell service is very weak and spotty, but that can be good thing, too. No Internet service, but there is satellite TV, DVD, and VHS, as well as a pool table and electronic dart board. We couldn't have been more pleased, and the owners are very nice to work with.
