We spent a week there this summer and truly enjoyed ourselves. The Rosenbaum's hospitality was fantastic. They truly have thought of everything plenty of movies and games to play. It is quite remote but a beuatiful area for exploring, enjoying the beach or looking for antiques. A short drive to Bangor or Bar Harbor. If rest and relaxation are in order this is the place for you. We will be back

We received such a warm welcome to this peaceful vacation hideaway. The setting is beautiful, the home is wonderful, and the owners as nice as they come. We were offered fresh vegetables from the garden, and furnished a cooked lobster dinner with corn brought to our door. Not to mention a wonderful blueberry pie.

The house is very comfortable. The views are lovely. We spent most of our time watching the comings and goings of the eagles across the way. The fledgling came and sat on a tree a few feet from the deck for hours. Bill and Tana are generous and gracious hosts. They brought us gifts of lobsters and blueberries as well as anything else we needed. Very quiet, very peaceful. You can buy any grocery items you need 4 miles away. We're from San Francisco and hope to return. Five stars.

We were amazed at the house, the incredible view, the breathtaking shoreline, the unparalleled hospitality, the amazing collection of movies, books, and games, and the impressive wildlife (we saw a bear cub!)! We are already planning a return trip for next year!

Wow, what a blast! The house is fantastic. It was worth the drive. A beautiful spot to relax with your friends & family. The Rosenbaum's are great hosts. They let us pick vegetables out of their organic garden, take the rowboat for a spin, brought us extra wood for the bonfire, and didn't complain when we played frisbee in their yard! Now our dog has a new best friend, Buddy! And yes, we saw the eagle, too cool.
