Description of the Harshaw vacation home rental

Traditional Northern Wisconsin lake home with gorgeous view of pristine 250 acre lake nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's northwoods. We are located about half way between Rhinelander and Tomahawk and about 20 miles south of Minocqua. The Bear Skin bike/snowmobile trail is minutes away and some of the best snowmobile trails in the northwoods are accessible from the lake. The house overlooks beautiful Hancock Lake and is surrounded by a nice wooded area with lots of trees. Enjoy watching the local bald eagle and other abundent wild life or hear the loons call late into the evening. If you favor fishing or a lazy ride around the lake we have a pontoon boat for rent and a paddle boat to use. The lake is well know for musky and is plentiful in bass, northern pike, pan fish, perch and walleye. This is a 3 bedrooms Home, two on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. One bedroom has one queen bed the other bedroom on the upper floor has one queen bed and a twin bed. The lower level bedroom has two queen beds. The lower level also has a queen size sofa sleeper in the lower living room and a walk out patio door. There is one full bathroom with a shower over the tub on the upper floor and one full bath with a shower on the lower level. The eat in kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a vacation. The kitchen has recently been updated with a ceiling fan/light over the kitchen table, track lighting and new counter tops. The living room is a relaxing area with a TV, fireplace and lots of windows and a patio door that opens to a large deck overlooking the lake. Outside on the deck are relaxing chairs and a table with a small built in fire pit and a charcoal grill. There is another fire pit on the ground and a swing chair. If you are looking for a charming, clean and comfortable place to stay that is close to everything, for a reasonable rate, this is the place for you! This home is very comfortable and pleasant. • Deposits: Reservation fee of $300.00 due within 7 days of reservation, non-refundable if canceled within 10 days of scheduled stay and we do not have another renter. $300.00 security deposit in addition to weekly rate, returned within approximatley one week after departure. Minimum 3-night stay. Additional $50.00 cleaning will be added. April - September $145 per night (3 night minimum stay)

Cabin was great, a little dated, but had everything we needed. Very close to shopping and dining. We couldn't believe how quiet it was! We came home rested!

We had a great time at this home. The home had all of the amenities that you need for a get-away. Hancock lake is very quiet with great fishing and was wonderful for watersports as well. The owner is quick to respond. We had a great time and plan on being back next year!!
