Description of the Hartford vacation home rental

Much bigger than it appears in the picture - about 2000 square feet.

Great swimming frontage with sand bottom on 522 acre lake, all water sports permitted, great fishing, private pier and pontoon paddle boat are included (in season). Motorized pontoon boat and fishing boats for rent at nearby Reef Point Resort. They also have row boats and a paddleboat for rent.

House rental also includes completely equipped kitchen, with microwave, side-by-side refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Rental includes all linens bedding, towels,Tvs,stero, etc. Home has lakeside patio with gas grill, lounge chairs and patio furniture set.

Home is about 2000 square feet with central air. Your retreat home has one very large bedroom with king size bed, large bedroom with queen size bed and average size bedroom with two twin beds. We also have a porta-crib and toddler race car bed available. Very ample parking (Garage also a possibility)and a large rear yard, fire pit for campfires, boat launch nearby and State Park across the lake with great hiking trails and beach.

No Smoking! Dogs may be allowed with additional fee and security deposit.

Fall, winter and spring dates available except Nov. 14 and 15. Summer weeks available except June 26 to July 18.

Daily rentals start beginning August 31th with a 2 night minimum weekends and three days during the week. Higher rates on holiday periods. Call or email with what you have in mind, or I will give you a call if you leave your phone number.

Area Description

Hartford, WI is a town of about 12,000 but with a lot of conveniences. It is located about 1/2 mile out of town in a quiet area. It even has a Wal-Mart. Slinger speedway is about 4 miles away in Slinger, WI and has weekly stock car races. Pike lake State Park covers about half of the frontage on the lake so it is a very peasful setting. It is outside of the town and has a very up North feel.

It is only 20 minutes from Milwaukee with world class zoo, museums, Milwaukee brewer baseball, art, live theatre, summer festivals, symphony, Brewery tours etc. Yes you can have the best of both city and lake living.

This is the first summer it is being rented and our tenants were aquired through different advertising.They have all seemed pretty pleased and we have had it fully rented all of July and August until the 27th. We have taken care of suggested items to include such as a corkscrew for their wine.
