Description of the Harwich vacation home rental

This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath ranch style home is located on a quiet street near the Harwich/Chatham line and is .6 miles from the bike trail and 1.1 miles from Red River Beach.

The house has hardwood flooring throughout, with a new tile floor in the kitchen. New windows and sliders, which open onto a spacious deck, were installed in 2012. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom, while the second bedroom has bunk beds and an additional twin. Other features include an enclosed outdoor shower, a washer/dryer on the main floor, wireless internet access, cable tv in the living room and both bedrooms, a Keurig coffee maker, and a gas grill. The main bedroom has windows on three sides and a ceiling fan, and there is an air conditioner in the small bedroom.

Area Information

Harwich and Chatham are beautiful towns with lots to do! The 9-hole Harwichport Golf Club and the challenging 18-hole Cranberry Valley Golf Course are a short drive away, as is shopping in both Harwichport and Chatham center. Spend a warm summer night at a Cape Cod League baseball game (mid-June through early August), or take the fast ferry to Nantucket for a day. For the kids, go-carts, batting cages, bumper boats, and trampolines are nearby. Of course, you can always just relax at one of the many salt and fresh water beaches!

This house is great!

To start off, the home owners are friendly and easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns in a timely manner. Now for the house, which is great! It is in a quiet neighborhood and is nicely decorated and landscaped. It is close to the beach and right off Route 28, a main road in Harwich-Chatham area. I highly recommed this property and we will definitely be back next year!

Great and honest owner!

I put a deposit down for this cottage in January in anticipation of my daughter's engagement party in Cape Cod. I found out in early May that the wedding and the engagement party are to be cancelled. I notified Dan, and he was kind enough to cancel my week and refund my deposit. His action tells me a lot about his character. I would definitely rent from him if I am going to rent in the area. Cape Excape - much more than we expected

Terrific place!! Very comfortable, extremely neat, exceptionally clean, and very thoughtfully equipped. The owners, Dan and Laurie, really thought of everything when fitting this place out. We've rented other cottages, condo's and homes in the past but this one was by far the best! And, as this home is situated on a dead end street with almost no vehicle traffic, it's an ideal spot for young children to be able to get outside and burn off some of their excess energy. Everyone had a great time even though the weather wasn't exactly perfect (only two sunny days). Plenty of things to do and see nearby. Looking forward to many future visits to Cape Cod. We would certainly book this cottage/home again.

Nice Quiet Location - - Beautiful House

This was a wonderful home to stay at. The Location was handy but quiet with no traffic (dead end street). A large yard and a great deck with an awning. The owner was helpful and attentive to our needs. Would love to come back and use the house in the future.
