Perfect getaway

This home is a perfect place to get away and relax. The trails through the woods were a perfect way to exercise and take in all of the natural state of the tree farm . We loved sitting on the porch and rocking back and forth and drink coffee in the mornings. It was the most gratifying experience to be able to remove ourselves from the frantic pace of life and completely relax.

Superb - a hidden gem

I got back today from staying at this wonderful place. The Hill House was already rented, so we stayed at the cabin close by on the same property. The owners could not have been more friendly and more accommodating to our needs. They were the ideal hosts while still respecting our privacy. The property itself is gorgeous. Acres of meadows, woods, and two lakes. I took full advantage of the 3 miles or more of trails, and walked a different way each evening. For those who don't want to walk, the lakes can be reached by vehicle, and there are chairs there for people to rest, and enjoy the abundant wildlife. However, I thoroughly enjoyed walking the longest way possible over little bridges going over streams etc. The cabin has two bedrooms, with an ensuite full bath downstairs, and an ensuite 1/2 bath upstairs. Both bedrooms are pleasantly spacious, and the entire cabin is spotlessly clean. The living room is very comfortable, with a sleek flat screen TV, and a DVD player. There is a front porch with chairs, and a place to grill, and a back porch, screened in with table, etc. Plus, there is a utility room with washer and dryer off that back porch. What a shame I didn't investigate it earlier - it had laundry detergent, etc., so I could have done all my laundry before I returned home. I will be back.

Wonderful Experience

We just recently stayed at the Hill House prior to my boyfriends deployment. We were incredibly pleased with the home and the area we stayed in. The house is beautiful with more than enough room. Much of our time was spent down by the pond's swimming, fishing or simply enjoying the beauty. Perfect for those that are truly seeking an escape, no city noise. Definitely a place we would return too.

This was a great place to spend a week with my husband before he left for deployment. Very quiet. He took the boys fishing. was alot better than a hotel. Rooms were perfect size. There was plenty of room. Perfect relaxing place. Hope to return when my husband returns home. The owners are great!!

Great place to never leave!

My wife and I stayed at the Hill House for a little over a month and we hated to leave! Our visit started the first evening with a visit from Mr. Saucier (the owner) bringing us complementary coffee and creamer! Mr. and Mrs Saucier make you feel right at home! The pictures of the place can not do justice to how nice it really is at the Hill House! If you like peace and quiet after a hard days work or while on vacation you have to stay here! Watching the geese landing in the lake, ducks waddeling around and swimming in the lake along with many other critters coming in to get a drink is very relaxing! If you like to catch fish, you wont be dissapointed here either! The house itself is a great get-a-way! If your looking for a place to keep up with the rest of the world then look somewhere else but if you want to GET AWAY, this is your place! I am looking forward to going back.
