The gite is set in a quiet hamlet,near the impressive medieval castle of Hautefort and only 30-40 min away from the worldfamous Lascaux caves,the Dordogne Valley,the medieval town of Sarlat.The area is full of worldfamous sites and well known for its hilly peaceful countryside, its nice walks through the walnut fields as well as its excellent local recipes and markets(foie gras,duck meat,white or red wines...)You will enjoy discovering the many typical villages and historic spots or attending the local festivals.Eating out is another enjoyable activity...Besides,most sport activities can be practised nearby(tennis,rowing,canoeing)
