The pictures describe the cabin exactly. It is very clean and well stocked and has everything you need for your stay. The owners were very accommodating which made the vacation even better. The lake is always beautiful that is why we continue to return to Hayden Lake. We love it there! Thank you Kathy and Caroline for sharing your home with us.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the property was exactly as we expected.....very cozy, clean and relaxing. We fished off the dock every evening and was very much surprised by the amount of fish in this area of the lake. We also had a surprise visit twice by Mr. Beaver........that was pretty cool to watch. This cabin was perfect for our needs and would very much consider staying again should we have the chance to visit Hayden Lake again.

This cabin is a lovely 1960's era log cabin filled with family history items and everything you need to cook, sleep & live away from home. The homeowners were very helpful with local amenities, as well as living on the site and being available. The cabin is built on a hillside, which is very common on Hayden Lake, but not meant for handicapped individuals. There are lots of rock and cement steps to get to the lakeshore, but once you get there, you are invited to dock your boat (under cover), use their kayak and paddleboat, as well as fish and swim off the dock. We enjoyed many trips onto the lake for fishing as well as fireworks and siteseeing during our week at "On Golden Pond". The sleeping arrangements are meant only for the hardy folk, as the stairs to the loft (2 twins) and to the basement (1 double, 1 queen) are very steep. Solid handrails make the stairs safer, but steep nonetheless. The two bathrooms are well stocked and accomodated our group nicely. The laundry/mud room is a large walk-out area of the basement which accomodated their queen-size air mattress the nights we had more than 6 sleepers. Lots of outdoor chairs on deck and at a firepit area, more chairs on the dock, to make leisure life even better. A beautiful area with respectful neighbors completed the wonderful week we spent in this lovely cabin in beautiful Northern Idaho. Be careful on the winding road getting there...one trip we saw 7 deer and 2 cats, on others there were runners, dogs, bicycles and lots more deer. The 10 mile trip from Hwy 95 takes 20-25 minutes to travel, but is breathtakingly beautiful! Be careful and enjoy the great time our 3 generation family did. Thanks to Carolyn & Kathy for their hospitality!!!!

We were celebrating my daughters 16th Birthday and we had a blast! It was also at a great price.
Very clean. Great location. The kids loved the water and the beach. Nice having your own washer and dryer. We loved the relaxed atmosphere.
