Area Information
Hayden Lake is one of North Idaho's Jewels. Only 20-30 minutes from Coeur D'Alene with it's resort area and famous floating green golf course. Hayden has smoother water for water sports compared to Lake Coeur D'Alene, and gets significantly warmer. There is waterfront dining available on the southwest shore of the lake, where marina gas is also sold. So come to North Idaho and see why we call it Paradise (at least in summer season!)

Beautiful and quiet on Hayden Lake

August 16, 2014

We just spent two nights and three days at this lovely apartment on Hayden Lake. It is beautifully appointed. A grassy lawn takes you down to the dock. There is a sandy beach, fire pit and comfortable lawn chairs. Normally, the minimum stay is 4 nights. The owner, however, graciously allowed us to stay the two nights as only two nights were available. The dock is perfect! We parked our ski boat in one of the covered boat slips. We felt welcomed by the owners and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful home in a perfect quiet part of Hayden Lake. Slept five of us very comfortably. Huge kitchen and great deck. The best part was coffee on the deck in the early morning while taking in the view!

Hayden Lake Idaho - Vacation

September 8, 2013

This vacation was the perfect place to get away with the family. There were 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a child in our group. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Once we arrived the owner of the property stopped in to introduce themselves and make everyone feel welcome. We towed our boat down to help enjoy the lake activities and this ended up being a great decision. The fishing on the lake was very good and we ended up catching and releasing around 14 largemouth bass during our 2 mornings of fishing. We took the kids to Silverwood Amusement Park which ended up being a very fun place for everyone. I highly recommend staying here as it has great access to surrounding communities and activities. The perfect place to get away from the hustle of city life. We cant wait to rebook for next year.

Great lake home

September 6, 2013

This property was an excellent fit for a group of five although it can sleep more. We all could not get enough of lake views off of the wrap around deck overlooking the 2 docks that were made available to us. The owner was very attentive to requests or concerns that we may have had. All in all i would definetively recommed this vacation home to any one looking for a great lake side vacation

More Information

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can we invite a bunch of people over and have a fun and NOISY party while using this property?
A: We like our neighbors and try to be considerate of their wish for quiet enjoyment of their lake homes, so this is NOT a place to party loudly. We ask that no more than four people join those who are renting our home for a maximum of ten people on site at any one time. And please remember your voices and all sound carries very far around water so best to avoid playing music loudly on the decks or docks. Reasonable dock play and noise is expected. We want you to have fun! Just keep it down after 9pm please.
Q: Is the sandbar part of the property?
A: Technically it belongs to our great neighbors to the east, Barb and Marty Mueller. You may see his float plane parked there in summer months, and we sometimes park our Hobie Cat sailboat on it. They are kind enough to let you use the portion directly in front of the cabin but please keep it clean and remove all items you take over there if you decide to use it for sunning or swimming etc. Please leave the eastern portion from the small tree over for the owners exclusive use.
Q: Can I jump off the docks?
A: Absolutely! But be aware the water is not very deep in our cove and diving is strictly at your own risk and not advised.
Q: Are the towels in the cabin available for beach use?
A: We do not attempt to supply beach towels and ask that you bring your own for this purpose. The towels and all bedding in the cabin should remain in the cabin.
Q: Is the firebowl on the upper deck OK for roasting marshmallows?
A: Yes by all means! But please be careful not to let them fall off the skewer into the charcoal rocks which are hard to clean off. Between the firebowl and the deck heaters you should be able to enjoy the outdoor space even on cool days and nights. If you end up finishing up any of the LP gas tanks for the BBQ or firebowl or heaters please notify us so we can refill them for the next renter.
Q: Do we need to haul our trash?
A: Two trash cans are supplied with heavy bag liners. We would appreciate it if you would bag all trash in the white trash bags that line all the indoor trash cans so that all trash ends up being double bagged. That way we can haul them in smaller sizes if we happen to come by for other reasons. Any trash you do haul would be greatly appreciated!! There is no city pickup in this area.
