The Old River Lodge is a favorite with many of our guests for it's incomparable views, it's old fashioned charm, it's massive, high-ceilinged great room, and it proximity to the Healdsburg Plaza, which is within walking distance. The three story home has romantic views from bedroom windows, perfect decks for wildlife viewing, a river's edge dock with two kayaks, and beach chairs, a hammock, fishing poles, a game room, a fully outfitted kitchen, a river view hot tub, and a Weber gas grill. We provide baby gates, a high chair and baby crib. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. All linens, bath and beach towels are provided. High quality mattresses, fine linens, down alternative pillows and comforters, and allergy guard encased mattresses and pillows offer a great nights' sleep. Occupancy is limited to 6 overnight guests, plus children under three.

Area Information

Our four homes are located along the Russian River, just outside of the idyllic town of Healdsburg, California, recognized as a world renowned wine producing region, and graced with a temperate Mediterranean climate and scenery reminiscent of Tuscany or the French countryside.

There is so much to see and do in the immediate area. The surrounding countryside has wineries at every turn (over 70), with tasting rooms, tours, and scenic vineyard views. Healdsburg is graced with exceptionally fine restaurants, a charming central plaza, unique shops, art galleries,and antique malls. Nearby are natural wonders, such as Armstrong Grove Redwood State Reserve, sandy Pacific Ocean Beaches, hot springs spas in Calistoga, and many more scenic surprises. Have your camera ready, and enjoy exploring!

We loved the Paradise home. The view of the river was beautiful, the hot tub hot and bubbly, and very nice neighbors. The walk into town is easy, the kitchen was well equiped, we had a wonderful visit, and highly recommend this home, and rental agency.

Fabulous!

My brother's family and minee (a total of 7 people)stayed here in late December. We loved the glorious river views, and the quiet, peaceful setting. There was lots of space for us all to spread out. The kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as the 2 decks were all great spaces for family gathering. The hot tub, kayaks and comfortable hammock on the deck all lent themselves to vacation relaxation. The beds were all comfortable as were the cozy comforters. The house is well appointed, but casual. Its location is fairly close to the charming trown of Healdsburg. The house met our expectaions and more!
