I rented the Blue Heron for family visiting to attend my wedding. This vacation home was very spacious and exceptionally clean. My guests had a stress free, relaxing time. Debra, the manager was available at all times and made sure that my guests felt right at home. The beach access in the back yard was a huge bonus! I recommend anyone visiting Healdsburg to use Wine Country Properties to rent a vacation home. Thanks again Debra!

We had a marvelous time.Plenty of space for everyone to play, read, etc.Easy access to the river. We have one child in a wheelchair and could manage that even tho the house is not officially accessible. Debra, the house manager, was available and even brought her husband around to show us good blackberry picking places.Kitchen is fairly small, but LOTS of bowls, pots, plates for our cooking family. Few downsides: mattress on queen bed in the studio has an uncomfortable dip in center. Sofa bed there could use a foam pad. Light for evening reading in the living room could be brighter. We've rented houses on the River for 7 years and expect to return to Blue Heron next year.

I rented this house for my family to take a break in the wine country. We had a very nice time. The house was bigger than we needed but had invited some friends and family to join us during the week, unfortunately no one was able to come. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and eating. Great eat in kitchen table with plenty of matching dishes and silverware. We had everything we needed. The house is roomy and comfortable. Most mornings and evenings we had a fire in the fire place to take the chill out and just enjoy the ambiance. It is easy to get into town from the house and Healdsburg is a nice place to spend some time. We all slept like babies because it is so quiet and dark and peaceful at night, it is a real get away from the city. A very relaxing trip and a nice way to feel like you are coming home after visiting local wineries.
