The house has every modern amenity to remind you that civilization has not been totally forgotten, from central heat and air to satellite TV feeding a large format high def plasma screen in the media room. Keep track of the markets or monitor your e-mail through a WiFi internet connection. The property was totally remodeled in 2008. It has a new kitchen with all new appliances, updated bathrooms with new sinks, faucets, travertine marble floors and walk in showers, new carpets, new Jatoba flooring and new deluxe king size beds. The home was also completely painted inside and out. The swimming pool as redone and upgraded with the latest computer controls and a regulation bocce court was added with gravity ball return.
You can catch the morning sun on the outside patio overlooking the pool and waterfalls or host a feast around a dining room table that seats eight. The dining room also features a 1,000 bottle wine cellar. The fully equipped gourmet chef’s kitchen has every amenity you could wish for including granite island and high end appliances. Just outside the kitchen contiguous to the pool, there is a large gas infrared barbecue ready for outdoor dining. For fun pick your country flag and play bocce on our court that features gravity ball return and wine glass holders. Everything here is intended to make a weekend feel like a month-long vacation.
Unlike most vacation rentals with small beds, each of our bedrooms has a king size bed with extra deep pillow top mattresses and allergy free mattress covers and pillows. On the second level the two master bedrooms have personal access to a large patio area offered for private sunbathing or relaxing. All bathrooms have walk in showers with one master bathroom having an additional tub.
Can you picture yourself playing bocce ball, sipping wine nibbling on appetizers with a gorgeous and expansive vineyard background bringing it all together? How does a barrel tasting from our award wining cabernet sauvignon sound? How about relaxing in the spa on the edge of a waterfall or the heated pool with two cascading waterfalls, or walking along paths again taking in the vineyards, and in the evening, the twinkling night sky, tucked in Healdsburg’s Dry Creek Valley.

A calm, peaceful enviroment, surrounded by beautiful landscape full of vines, trees, flower, birds, butterflys, canadian geese, friendly dog, and the best of all a home that lacks very little else one would desire. The spa, pool, bouce court , decks to lounge, grass to enjoy the early morning yoga and hills to explore with early morning walks.A chef kitchen equiped to enjoy creating those evening meals after the crash and burn lunches in near by Healdsburg or after a bike ride exploring near by wineries. At the end of the day slip into luxury linens on a mattress made to rock you to sleep. In all heaven.

My sister rented this place to celebrate her 40th birthday with family and friends. The grounds were very nice, especially the pool and BBQ area. The house was also nicely put together. Overall, our stay would have been very pleasant and uneventful, if it wasn't for the army of ants that came out at night in the upper back bedroom and marched all over our friend sleeping there! When we contacted the owner about it, she scolded us that we didn't call earlier! I guess we should have called her at 2 or 3 am when it happened?! She was very unsympathetic, even suggesting we may have been making it up. When it came time to settle the bill, we thought a discount would be appropriate given the situation. But this idea was not at all well-received. Finally, after thinking about the situation further (and probably realizing that a bad review wouldn't help her business), a very modest discount was applied. Needless to say, we were not at all impressed with the owner. I would not recommend this place. 1 extra star because of the modest discount.
This house was amazing! Beautifully designed and maintained! Love the bocce court and wine barrel tasting!
The location was absolutely perfect; private and quiet, but so close to Healdsburg and all the vineyards on Dry Creek. The very reasonable rates along with the impeccable service and generosity of the owners is a dream come true combination. If you are planning a trip to wine country, staying here is an absolute must!!!

Wow...just a great house, location and owners. Way better than we expected. First, the house is incredible. The attention to detail is amazing...First Class home with no expenses spared. Second, the location is very private yet close to all wineries and the town of Healdsburg. And third, the owners are so nice and helpful. We loved it here. The pool and hot-tub blend together with 2 waterfalls and is really amazing. A barn next door full of wine in the barrel to taste. Bocce court, acres to walk around, etc. We will book again

This house was absolutely fabulous! It is quiet and secluded, yet you are only five minutes from Healdsburg. The house is clean, well-maintained and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and bocce ball court. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and their wine was great. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are traveling to Healdsburg.

We had a truly wonderful stay here, in an immaculate and stylish home nestled in a seriously magnificent setting. I know it sounds like a lot of superlatives, but this estate really delivers. Moreover, our welcome was gracious and caring, like meeting extended family for the first time. I also have to say that the estate-bottled wine is superb - flavorful, full-bodied, and a rare treat right out of the barrel. We're happy to recommend this home and these fine people, unreservedly.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us! It was a perfect place to gather with family to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday. The house was everything we dreamed it would be, with such attention to detail. We hope to return again very soon! Best regards, The Pratts San Anselmo, CA
Thank you for renting your beautiful home to us - we had a fantastic weekend. Your home was very functional, space was efficient and comfortably accommodated 2 families. The 4 children (age range from 2-8 yrs old) LOVED the swimming pool and hot tub. The location of the house (in a private gated area) provided a safe area for them to ride their bikes and freely roam through the vineyards. The entire weekend we didn't see a single car or person other than ourselves. The living space was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen well equipped. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. We will definitely come back up for another visit soon! Thank you for a very memorable and relaxing family vacation! Starting with your welcoming wine tasting, the beautiful roses in the dining room - everything was perfect. We ate great food, drank great wines and told fantastic tales. We toasted to the stars and fell in love with your 'Casa Privata.' Thank you!

This home is spectacular. I am thrilled that the owners are sharing it with us. Absolutely EVERYTHING about this home and our hosts was wonderful. The kitchen is quite lovely and had everything we needed to make a nice barbeque dinner after a full day of visiting many local wineries. I returned home and quickly reserved Casa Privata for October to be enjoyed with my girlfriends :) It is that nice!
