Relaxing 2 Bedroom A-frame Cabin in West Virginia (#36922)

Write a review We had the best time staying at this quaint home located in The Woods. We stayed during the State Softball Tournament and was sad that we couldn't stay longer. We plan on visiting again next summer to just relax and vacation. Sitting on the screened in porch at night was an absolute pleasure. The home was very clean and well maintained and I would definately recommend it to everyone. Plan on seeing us again next year! We LOVED it! F. Smith and family We had a group of 4, 3 generations, the cabin was very comfortable and we loved the setting. The Woods Resort offered activities for all. We liked the area and coming from Michigan the hills were great. Overall a very nice place to spend a few days, we would come back The Woodworths, from Owosso, MI We were looking for a home-away-from-home for our family of 5 (3 children under the age of 5)while we were visiting my in-laws in the Hedgesville area. This cabin was perfect! Very nicely decorated, very clean, and recently upgraded. All appliances were in perfect working order, as was the central air. We will definitely be booking again! I highly recommend this place, especially for a family with young kids. In fact, my kids asked if we could live here permanently! Located within "The Woods" resort in Hedgesville, WV and its 36 holes of golf, this is a perfect cabin if you have a passion for weekend golf adventures and have 3 other golfer buddies who share the same interest. Its not too far from the DC metro and its located in a very quiet upscale neighborhood. The amenities are top notch and its more like a home away from home rather than a rustic cabin. I could see myself renting this cabin during the spring/summer months, play all day golf with my buddies, then at night, grill some steaks and drink some brew on the wrap around porch and perhaps play cards at the outdoor screened dining area. And all this for a great weekend price. I stayed in this lovely cabin for 2 nights and had the most relaxing experience. The cabin is so quaint and cozy. Wood burning fireplace heats the whole downstairs well; kitchen is very well-equipped. Excellent 18 hole golf course within a stone's throw as well as a fitness center. The town of Berkely Springs is close by with great shopping; I recommend 'Earthdog' cafe: great food with a downhome feel. We also went to Charles Town casino; an easy drive. I'm already planning my next trip back!
