 Fairytale Cottage Enchantment, October 30, 2007

This was a very special getaway for our wedding anniversary. The cottage is truly like something taken out of a fairytale. The setting is rustic/victorian, very romantic, the decor was adorable, all the little touches made it a very cozy and fun place. The hot tub is inside, adjacent to the living area and bathroom, so it was very convenient to enjoy. The bedroom was located in a loft area, with lots and lots of pillows on the bed, and a cozy romantic netting surrounding it. The cottage has a tin roof , so in the early morning, while the wind was blowing, we could hear bits of leaves and tiny branches falling on the roof, very magical. The only thing that was inconvenient for me is that the cabin was filled with lovely aromatheraphy scents but I turned off the potpourri and the air fresheners because I have lots of allergies and it was difficult for me to breathe with so many scents. Next time I will make sure to mention this to the owner. We had a lovely time.
