Description of the Helen vacation chalet rental
Newly designed,voted a 5 star chalet in the mountains of Helen Ga. Stargazer is unique in it's own. Master bed and bath on upper level with a view that's breathtaking. Facing the south east you get the sun in the morning and the moon-stars at night. The chalet is well stocked with all your needs. Just added this year is a Home theater on the lower level with a 10 x 8 foot screen, surround sound. Plenty of seating for that family night at the movies. Hot tub off the lower level deck in a private space of it's own. Fire place off the kitchen area for keeping warm on the cold winter nights.

Visit to Helen and the Surrounding Area

We stayed at the cabin for the week of New Years and throughly enjojed it. The three worked well since we shared the cabin with two other couples. The entertainment center on the lower level was a big hit. The location was convenient for visiting Helen, the mine and even a drive the the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. We would definetly stay here again!

What a beautiful home!!! Our family had a wonderful time. Wish we could have stayed longer. The surroundings were peaceful and the view was lovely. The home was extremely comfortable and has a lovely media room. Everything was top class. We would have loved to have met the owners and thanked personally. Cannot wait to go back. Great family vacation!

We loved this chalet! It has three floors with plenty of space for a huge family. It is only a few minutes to Helen, GA. Blue ridge, GA is about an hour away which had a lot of water activities and a train which we enjoyed. If you want a quiet place in the woods this place is great. The only thing we did not like was the loud crickets at night and the master bedroom has a lot of uncontrollable light coming in. We loved the huge projection screen downstairs but wished there was a fridge down there as well because the stairs wear you out. The owner was really nice. The only things she needed to inform us was perhaps what we needed to do with the trash all week long and she did not know the password for the wifi so we could not use the internet at all during the week. Overall I would recommend this chalet to 6 people because there is 3 bedrooms. The sofa bed is in the living room and is right in front of the front door practically so there really is no privacy. The best part of this chalet was the deers that wondered through the yard everyday.

I never planned to cover the windows, that is part of the reason we bought the place. It's open and we love it. Sorry if you were not happy with that. There are pull shades there, I hope you saw them.
As for the Wifi, that's a puzzle. We use the code I gave you all the time. wish you would have called us back, it could have been fixed for you.
I hope you enjoyed your stay other than for some of the items listed. the extra trash cans are out side right by the garage, Don't know how you missed them unless they were stolen.

What a wonderful 10-day getaway with our two grown children. The sunrise/sunset was absolutely lovely from the loft bedroom each day. This cabin offers the comforts of home nestled in the mountains. What makes this cabin unique & special is the movie room.! A 10' x 6' movie screen made you feel like you were at the movie theatre everyday. The peace and solitude the cabin offers with the view of the mountains made the trip very relaxing and enjoyable. The cabin is conveniently located to Helen and neighboring towns to enjoy sightseeing, wine tasting, and antique shopping. I forgot to mention the hot tub- definitely a great way to end the day. We will definitely be back. :) The owners - Linda and Bill were most accommodating. The Lovell Family

We rented this cabin and on arrival their were a few problems the owner was unaware of. If you want to rent a beautiful, comfortable well located cabin from honest trustful and caring people then this is the ideal place..She was responsive caring and a pleasure to do business with...This cabin is minutes from Helen, but so well situated you think your in the middle of the mountains..convenient to stores, restaurants...a clean comfortable interesting plAce to stay

Anniversary Weekend

My wife and I planned a long weekend visiting wineries and shopping. We were looking for a mountain home and this house fit the description. Very close to Helen and a small drive over to Dahlonega. It was nicely decorated and had a good view from on the mountain. Didn't get the hot-tub to warm up enough but it was raining anyway. Good time.
