Hendersonville has a wonderful downtown Main St to walk as well as all ranges of restuarants to eat at. There is the Carl Sandburg Home to hike around, Jump Off Rock in Laural Park, see a play at The Flat Rock Playhouse or pick apples at a local orchard!

Saluda, Brevard, Asheville, Black Mountain that are within driving distance. There are many entertaining and exciting things to do here in the mountains. Including Historic Main Streets, Hiking, Triple Falls at DuPont State Park, Sliding Rock, The Grove Park Inn, Biltmore House and many many more!
