Vacation Rental Description

This charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage was completely renovated in 2007. It boasts a new kitchen and appliances, tiled shower, washer and dryer, hardwood floors, a sleeping porch with twin bunk beds, and a huge deck overlooking Lake Hickory which is steps away down a gentle slope less than 90 feet away. Watch the herons and turtles.

Area Description

Our cottage is in the community of Bethlehem which is in the middle of Lake Hickory. We're an hour from Boone, Blowing Rock, Charlotte, Lake Norman, Lake James, an hour and 1/2 from Asheville, and fun downtown Hickory is a short 10 minute drive. There are grocery stores and great restaurants minutes away. You could swim to the marina, but if it's cold, it's a short drive to rent any water vehicles. A public docking access is close by. A public golf course with restaurant is almost in the back yard and just a short walk away.

This is the perfect getaway. If you a looking for a relaxing vacation, away from the hustle and bustle..this is the place. The cottage is charming and all inclusive with steps to a beautiful and peaceful lake.

Leave your Internet and direct TV at home. Not avaiable here,cell signal good,that's why it is sooo relaxing.Hanging out on beautiful deck or sunning on dock.Birds singing in morning,quiet fishermen in evening.We ate most meals on deck watching sunset on water.Inside is beautiful and cozy, can't wait to come back and use fireplace. If your looking for a beautiful getaway, this is it !

Charming cottage right on lake Hickory, nice peaceful part of the lake. Great fishing, wonderful view, and cottage had everything you could possibly need.

This cabin is very tasteful, clean & comfortable. The view of the lake is great, & the cabin has a very peaceful feel. It is great for a romantic getaway, yet comfortable enough for a small family. It's off the main drag but close to grocery shopping and restaurants.
