Description of the Hickory vacation home rental

This beautiful custom home located on Lake Hickory is ideal for family vacations and peaceful relaxation. There is a lovely, large porch off the back of the house with a hot tub with a beautiful view of the lake and a large screened-in porch with table and chairs off the kitchen with a great view as well.

Inside, the master bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor right outside the living area. Upstairs is the guest room with attached bath and a lovely step out back porch. The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds and is ready for the kids to play. The loft has a day bed for extra sleep capacity. The kitchen has all the updated appliances a new homeowner would want. Stainless appliances, a 6 burner gas stove top and a very large island with stools for gathering. This house is perfect for a relaxing family vacation or holiday.

Overlooking Gunpowder Cove on Lake Hickory, the house is conveniently located in Granite Falls, only 10 minutes from a multitude of restaurants and attractions such as the local marina (for boat rentals), a kid's museum or even the Hickory Crawdads AA Baseball team or the Hickory Speedway for you sports enthusiasts.

Several other tourist attractions are situated conveniently within an hour drive (or less) from our door -- the mountain communities of Boone and Blowing Rock, the fabulous Biltmore Estate in Ashville or even the Charlotte Airport. There is definitely not a lack of things to see on vacation here!

We rented Eric and Kims Lk house primarily to house our family during our daughters wedding. It became the perfect nest with grill, hottub, and great kitchen we hated to leave. Actually, we stayed a few extra days after the wedding just to de-compress. Thanks so much for the great stay. I hope to come back to visit again. With a little more work on the lake front this will be the perfect stop in NC mountain Lk getaway.

This house was absolutely amazing. Our family loves to swim fish anything outdoors so it was perfect. The house was very affordable. We had a great time. We would definetely go there again.
