Description of the Higgins Lake vacation cottage rental

Charming three bedroom 1 bath w/in walking distance to the beach, North State Park and restaurant/nightlife. Secluded location at end of a deadend street with large lot for all your toys! There is a volleyball net, basketball hoop and large fire pit. Deck with grill, picnic table and sunroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes stove top range, and convection microwave oven. There is a tv/dvd/vcr, full size washer and dryer. Backyard has an enclosed fence and every room is themed-nautical, beach, eagles and botanical. We are three minutes from snowmobile and ORV trails which connect to Grayling, Gaylord, Traverse City and Kalkaska. We are also within walking distance to Higgins Lake and three minutes from state hunting land, x-country sking, fishing and boat launch.

Higgins Lake and the North State Park are within walking distance. Great beaches, a township park, boat rentals, canoeing, skiing all w/in a few miles or less. Less than a mile to ORV and snowmobile trails, along with State hunting land, x-country sking, fishing and boating. Downhill skiing in Cadillac, Gaylord and Boyne Mountain--all less than an hour drive. Fifteen minutes away you can enjoy downhill skiing and tubbing at Hansen Hills family recreation area. Tip-up-Town in January is 15/20 minutes down the road along with Grayling canoe race in July. There are several well known golf courses and canoe liveries less than 15 minutes away. Last, but not least we are an hour an a half or less from Mount Pleasant & Traverse City casino's and Mackinaw Island/Bridge.

1 Queen, 1 twin and a bunkbed. Couch could sleep a sixth person. Air conditioning, natural gas fireplace for those chilly night, room for a tent or two at an extra charge, outdoor volleyball and basketball hoop onsite. Many things close by to keep thw whole family, hunters or a couple looking for a romantic weekend busy. Great getaway for summer, fall color tours, hunting, winter activities.

• Deposits: There is a $100.00 cleaning/damage deposit-refundable after satisfactory inspection made after departure. Deposit to hold your dates is $200.00 and will be refunded if canceled 2 weeks before scheduled arrival. After 2 weeks, we will take out $20.00 per day. No refunds within 5 days of scheduled arrival.
