Fabulous 4 bedroom 3 bath ranch on 40 acres in Highland, NY. Large 2 story filled with light, modern furnishings. 90 minutes from NYC, near New Paltz. Five minutes to the Walkway Over The Hudson, Fanny Reese Park, Hudson River landing. Hiking, boating on Lake Chodikee, rail trail, Mohonk Mountain House, Morse House, FDR Historic site, Vanderbilt Mansion, Vassar College,Culinary Institute of America nearby. Beautiful views and wonderful place to leave the city behind. Property is available for events and filming.

Area Information

Five minutes from Mid-Husdon Bridge, Walkway Over The Hudson, Fanny Reese Park, near Culinary Institute of America, FDR Mansion, Vanderbilt Mansion, Mohonk Mountain, Rock climbing in the famous "Gunks", wine trails, apple picking, horseback riding, colleges including New Paltz, Vassar, Marist, Bard. Music, art and cultural events, antiquing, hiking. The property extends to 40 acres which borders the Black Creek, Lake Chodikee and farms. There is a hiking trail on the property which goes to a private lake. Deer, turkeys, pheasants and a variety of birds are found on the property.

We rented the house for the 2012 West Point Graduation. It fit perfectly for what we needed. Great location from the North Metro and easy to get to and from Post. Plenty of space and a perfect place to come back to after a busy day. Thanks Mikki!

This was the most comfortable vacation rental we stayed in so far. It is located by a private lake which is a walking distance through a path in the forest.
