and host a petting zoo of twenty-some animals, including Little Sweetie, our 800+ pound pet pig.
Five comfortable, one bedroom and studio size, family style cottages, our new 40 foot lagoon pool, a private regulation tennis court and a picturesque gazebo are available for your use.The cottages, which sleep from two to five, are set amidst large lawns, graceful palm trees and an assortment of fruit trees. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TV/VCR, private phone, ceiling fans and a full bath.

The cottage was just perfect. Met all our needs. Great for exploring the Hilo/Puna side. Spent a week and that was not long enough. Loved the pool. Awesome tennis court. The owner are great.

I had originally gotten a different place that was just disgusting...found this place. My daughters and I absolutely loved it. It may be a little out of Hilo but with a full kitchen, wonderful scenery and a pool we didn't need to really go much places if we didn't want to. This is def worth whatever you pay for it. The landlords were so wonderful, I wish I could have stayed there longer. I have already told my husband that when we come back, we're staying here. No where else.

we stayed at this cottage for 3 weeks and the only thing we have to complain about is the rain. we had full use of the wonderful saline pooll and tennis court, it was vertually priivate as no one else was renting a cottage during our stay for more than a couple of days. we were only a short drive from golf and shopping. it was great!!!

A Little piece of Hawaian Heaven

What a wonderful find! If you want to feel Hawaii this is the place to stay. Very nice cottages in a beatiful setting with wonderful hosts. We also stayed at Condos on the other side of the island but we could have been anywhere in the world. This place is definitely in Hawaii. Wonderful! It is a great jumping off spot to explore Volcano Park, the Hilo area and the immediate area of Puna is amazing too. The Hilo market on Saturday was a great place to pick up some groceries. We spent 2 days in Volcano Park, night viewing of lava flows, if available, was great and the best hike is Kilauea Iki, Thurston Lava Tube is interesting too. Our only regret is that 4 nights was not enough!

We have stayed here two times in the past couple of years. I would stay more often but we have friends who insist we stay with them. This is heaven on earth. It is quiet and peaceful. The cottages are lovely, and the grounds are beautiful. There are animals wandering around. Cyndie and Mark are the best hosts you could hope for. I would recommend it to anyone.

a great place for a family get away

My spouse (58), I (57) and our 2 children (6 & 7) spent 4 days here after spending a week at Magic Sands Beach. We loved the quiet, how clean and spacious the cabin was, the community grocery store, great food near by, and the proximity to volcano park, Hilo, and great tidepool snorkeling. The kids loved the pool and the animals. Only complaint is there are no basic food stuff in the kitchen. For example, there isn't oil, basil, sugar, or even flour. It is very difficult to make good meals without some basic food stuff. We left some oil, salt, and sugar. Hope it is there for the next guests.

Fantastic Place To Stay

We stayed here in August 2007 for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just what we wanted an idilic retreat, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is good, just 30mins drive from Hilo, but also close to the Volcanic Park and Hot Springs and Beaches. Would recomend it to anyone who wants a few days away from it all.

Paradise as it should be

I stayed here in Sept 2004 with my grandson. We are going back this Sept. for the entire month. My grandson loved the animals. I spent most of my time in the wonderful pool or on the back porch just enjoying the quite. If you want to see what Hawaii is really like this is the place to stay. Cindi and her husband were just wonderful and very helpful with any information that you might need. I didn't want to leave and look forward to going back this year
