Area Description

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina is the 2nd largest island on the east coast. Located 30 minutes from Savannah, GA (home of Paula Deen of Food Network fame) 1.5 hours south of Charleston, SC and 4 hours from either Charlotte or Atlanta. The island offers 12 miles of wide sandy beaches, 23 golf courses, over 300 tennis courts, over 200 restaurants, over 40 miles of biking trails are just among a few of its many attractions. Great outlet shopping is also available. The Island has a strict development codes that allow people and nature to coexist.
