Description of the Hilton Head vacation condo rental

Breakers #240 is a Renovated, True Direct Oceanfront, Private End Unit Villa/Condo and has the Best View Hilton Head Island has to offer. You have a breathtaking, panoramic view of the beach and ocean. The only thing between Breakers #240 and the ocean is a few feet of sand; you really can't get any closer. It's like being on the beach without leaving the villa. You'll get to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean every second of your vacation. You can watch the kids jumping the waves and building sandcastles while relaxing on the sofa. You can actually call the kids in off the beach right from your own private balcony!

Breakers #240 is an ideal second floor villa, not too far up yet not too low where shrubs and plantings obstruct you view. Being a Private End Unit there is a side window in the living room which has a wonderful view of a beautiful courtyard, including a pond and fountain. There are only three villas in the entire complex with this view.

If you're looking for a clean, cute, comfortable place to spend your vacation on Hilton Head look no further. We live on Hilton Head Island on North Forest Beach "our favorite area" so we are able to make sure both our villas are clean and well maintained! {The majority of our guests are repeat renters.} Both our condos were completely renovated and are in great condiotion. Some of the renovations include: New carpeting in the living room and bedroom, ceramic floors in hall, bath and kitchen, New: kitchen cabinets, counter tops, microwave/convection oven, stove top, refrigerator, washer, dryer, bedroom furniture, and renovated bath.

Our villas will accommodate up to three guest. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and {bunks in a hall alcove.} The bunks are great when you have kids, you don't have to pull out the sofa bed and have it in your way. You can put the kids to bed, shut the door and have the living room to yourself. You can relax, watch TV or sit on the balcony without disturbing them.

Area Information

The Breakers is located on 4 North Forest Beach Drive, one of Hilton Head Islands most desirable, convenient locations. This is a small quiet complex, there are only 120 units, perfect for a relaxing vacation. You don't have to drive or walk to the beach, you're already there, the ocean is right out the door. You may not need to move your car because you can walk to just about everything, including Water Fun Park. Right across the street at Coligny Plaza there are quaint little shops, entertainment, restaurants, grocery store, coffee shop, Movie Theater and bakery. There are two onsite pools, one for the adults, and one for the little ones. The pool is heated from the first week in March until warm weather takes over.

More than expected

I actually stayed at Mike and Ellen's two bedroom rental that they have available, not the one bedroom. But this is the only place to write the review. . All in all, my family's Hilton Head trip was perfect. The condo was very clean and had more than we needed. Just like home, just pack some cloths and personal items and everything else is there. Ellen even called the evening of our arrival to make sure everything was okay and that we were settled in fine. Payment was easy, western union. And all questions were answered by one of them in a very timely fashion. None the less, Mike and Ellen are great host, even from numerous states away. I'm sure that any rental you reserve from them will be satisfying. Looking forward to coming again next year.

Great location! Nice, small condo.

My husband and I stayed in Unit 240 at The Breakers in July. The location is great. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Having Coligny Square right across the street was wonderful. We also appreciated seeing security guards on duty. They definitely stayed on top of checking all vehicles in and out of the lot. Unit 240 is small but it's very clean and would be perfect for a couple with 1 - 2 small children. We enjoyed staying there. I loved having an end unit (no one on the other side) with an oceanfront view. We would certainly consider staying there again in the future. Our only problem with our stay was parking. A few evenings we went out and returned around 11:00 - 11:30 and found that there were no parking spaces available. Fortunately, the security guard allowed us to park our Corvette along the curb next to the security stand. One security guard said that there were 120 units and only 99 parking spaces. - Don't know if that's correct or not, but it would explain the lack of parking in the evenings.
