Description of the Hilton Head vacation home rental

"Monkey Business" is located three houses, 75 yards to one of the nicest beaches on Hilton Head Island, you and your family and friends will find the large pool 40' x 20' great for laps and lounging. We purchased this 2 story home in September, 2006 and are completely redecorating for the 2007 season. Pictures show progress to date. The five bedrooms, two on first floor, three on second floor comfortably sleep 16, all have cable access TVs some with DVDs. A new covered, screened-in porch is in the process of being constructed with entrance from the kitchen/dining area and also access down the stairs to the pool.
Kitchen is extremely well-stocked and ready for the gourmet or casual cook.
2nd refrigerator with ice maker and 2nd stove in ground floor room with access to the pool deck and another screened in porch, very convenient to the propane gas grill.

The new furnishings throughout the house have been selected based on comfort and style. We have been visiting the island for 30 years and have owned our rental vacation property at 8 Egret for 4 years. Our block of Dove Street is on the ocean-side of North Forest Beach Drive. It has four single-family houses on our side of the street and four across the street. It is a quiet, paved, one-way street westbound from the ocean. 3 houses (75 yards) east and you are at a great beach. Four minutes or three blocks south and a 1/2 block west and you are at Coligny Plaza with a well-stocked supermarket with one of the best selections of fresh fish on the island, a bakery, liquor store, numerous restaurants and shops are all an easy walk or bike ride from the house. The bike-path parallels North Forest Beach Drive. A car is not necessary.

There are six adult bikes, three kids bikes and a tri-cycle on site as well as numerous pooland beach floats and toys.
