Looking for close proximity to the best section of Hilton Head’s 12-Mile Beach? This is it!. After a short walk on a private concrete pathway, you’ll find yoursel at a seemingly endless stretch of unimaginably wide beach.
A walk or bike ride in either direction will be uninterrupted for five miles.

Your bungalow is also close to all the best Hilton Head has to offer including tennis, three golf courses, horseback riding, fishing, nature trails, biking, and superb restaurants.

Set in a natural environment adjacent to the forest preserve, this free-standing home is a perfect alternative to an apartment-like villa where you share walls on both sides with the neighbors.
Area Information
Hilton Head is known for its soft ocean breezes, and a pristine beach that is rated among the top ten on the eastern seaboard. But the island is whole lot more than beach. There are recreational activities for every member of the family from devoted golfers and tennis players to those who prefer equestrian sports.

The island has some 23 golf courses. In Sea Pines alone there are three, among them the famous Harbourtown Golf Links, home to the annual PGA Heritage Classic.

The "Low Country" of South Carolina iis known for an abundance of unusual wildlife and vegetation. You're sure to see something new on every bike ride or walk along the miles of trails within the forest preserve. It's adjacent to your bunglalow.

At the beach you can fish, or help the kids collect shells. Perhaps you might want to take up parasailing, sea kayaking, or jet skiing. Let's not forget impromptu fun like volley ball games on the beach, or a cook out at Lake Mary.

Eat in or out, Hilton Head as many great restaurants per capitas as New York City.

the unit was very nice and very comfortable. Others are probably a little more updated but this was perfect for us.

We totally enjoyed our stay in sea pines on Hilton head island. Rented bikes took us both, along with coco, our 12 year old shi zhu on paths thru natural forest,'nvvbgb preserves and impeccable manicured sea pines. The ocean paths led to the Atlantic where at low tide we enjoyed biking on the sand. Our whole visit we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings of nature. Indeed, a beautiful visit we have fond memories of forever.

We had a wonderful stay with our teenagers and two dogs. Beautiful condo, close to beach. Will come again

Great Condo & Location

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend, just 2 adults and our dog. We couldn't have asked for a better location! Walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants, around the corner from Coligny. The Condo was well stocked and very well maintained, the bed was super comfortable! We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Nice week!

The information here is not correct - I had a 1 bedroom, 1 bath rental (perhaps you overcharged me????). I am very grateful for the pet friendly rental and it was extremely important to me. The rental was clean and had almost all of the items in the kitchen that I needed. I appreciate the amenities such as the paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and sheets. I accidentally locked myself out and the rental company responded almost immediately to help me out. I would rent this again! Loved the proximity to the beach and the access to lots of shaded walking trails.

Happily surprised

We needed a last minute, dog-friendly rental for a family of 5. This fit the bill perfectly. The pool is around the corner (and a good size, with adjacent bathroom facilities); the beach is across the street; there is an outside shower at the home to wash off sandy feet (and paws). The community itself was very quiet, but close to everything. Coligny is minutes away by bike; Harbor Town is less than 30 minutes by bike. And we saw alligators every day in the neighborhood lagoon, which the kids loved.

great place I will be back!

23 Night Heron was very clean and super cute! A super short walk to the beach...at night you could hear the ocean!! I really enjoyed sitting on the back deck with my dogs watching the birds in the water. Just a wonderful stay and I will rent this unit again in the future :)

Great pet friendly condo

This was a great townhouse rental (so no footsteps from other residents upstairs), and nicely updated. I liked the wood floors downstairs as I didn't have to worry about the dog ruining the carpet every time we walked in the door. It is only a block off the beach, within walking distance to Coligny shopping, movies, dining and grocery stores and of course the bike trails. I gave it a 4 because the neighbors smoke and it waifs through the vents. We also didn't like the shower head, but that wouldn't stop us from renting this condo next year.

Pet friendly indeed!

My family of five plus three dogs found the house to be very roomy and accommodating. Allow yourself plenty of time to become familiar with Sea Pines and surrounding area prior to arriving. We stayed one week and didn't scratch the surface of Sea Pines. The home was very clean and well supplied with linens. Two screened porches were welcome retreats during the evenings. The owners have taken care to leave instructions and notes for every electronic and light switch. This was a very welcome change to hotel vacations. You will LOVE the two personal photos of the owner's dogs. As for the location of the home in relation to amenities, it is well placed. A lovely swimming pool is a two minute walk from the home. We found it took our family of five (plus dogs) about 15 minutes to reach the beach. Every step was covered by road, wood, or concrete walkway until beach edge. Please realize that although the home is newly renovated, it still retains certain 1970-80 architectural details. For one, the home is without a tub. The bathrooms are complete with medicine cabinet, stand up shower and toilet. We found the shower to be a bit of a challenge at first as they are on the small side. Second, the kitchen is also small but very well equipped for a single person operation. With all this said, we would not hesitate to stay here again. The management company was very polite and responsive. Sea Pines is a very family and pet friendly resort. We chose this home because it was pet friendly. We enjoyed the quiet cul-de-sac and location. Use the managing company's directions to get to the home. Explore the area and find that the home is much closer to the second, more South entrance on Sea Pines Drive. Have fun and enjoy your vacation!

Thanks Rebecca:

We appreciate your 4 star review. AND...

You will be happy to know that a TOTAL renovation is being done this winter. Enlarged guest room, an all new master bath with large tub and seperate shower plus granite counter tops surrounding tub and vanity, and with mosaic trim and carrera finishes. The master bedroom will have a walk-in closet, and the guest bedroom an all new bath and shower. Should be quite an upgrade. But you nailed the best stuff already. Thanks.

The dogs had a great time

This place really works as a dog friendly Hilton Head spot,,about 10-15 min walk to the beach..and a beautiful part of the beach too..Dogs allowed until 10:00 am and after 5:00 pm..Only thing that kept this from being a 5 star spot is that the bathrooms were about the size of a single wide 's bathroom..no tub , and a shower that would not have worked if I was 6'3"..too small for two people to be in there at the same time

Owner's reply:

William:

Thanks for the review. Yes, the bathrooms are too small. Making them larger and more in keeping with the remainder of the house (you didn't mention the all new furniture, modern lighting, slate flooring, custom granite counter et al) is to enlarge them. But with Sea Pines design review board needing to approve any plan for an exterior change, that is a major project.

Perfect vacation spot.

This condo was adorably decorated, VERY CLEAN and well cared for. The community was quiet within an easy walk to the beach and Coligny Plaza. The owners were responsive and have stocked the condo well. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, and my 2 little dogs were able to sit out on the back deck and watch the squirrels and birds. I highly recommend this location.

Owner's reply:

Thanks so much Judy. I am delighted you enjoyed our home.

Great, affordable home-close to the beach:)

We had an awesome time staying here! The house is tucked away in a secluded area, but is still a short walk (on a paved path) to the beach. We would definitely consider staying again in the future.

We did not here. Ended up at a hotel!
