Convienent to everything

December 24, 2013

This place was nice. I will be honest though, the lock box directions are not that easy and the bed was very uncomfortable. Once in the lock box which I had to get security to help me out I was pleased. Its very beach themed. I would stay at these villas again, maybe one with an ocean view next time.

Don't Wast Your Money!!!!!!

October 24, 2013

We arrived at this resort and as soon as we stepped out of the car you could smell sewer. We then preceded to our room which was on the 4th floor, the elevator was extremely slow and at any time we were expecting it to quit working and get stuck in there. Finally we make it to our room still smelling raw sewage all over the resort as we entered the room from first appearance was nice. The cleaning crew was just finishing and she said I'm sorry but you only have 3 wash clothes keep in mind there are 4 of us and we r staying for 6 days, I said is that it for the week or day or what she said the week can u believe that and only 4 towels for the week. Now in the description of the condo it says fully furnished just bring you beach towels. I would have loved knowing this so I could have brought xtra, and as far as a laundry room its disgusting no one would put here clothes in there or at least I wouldn't. We then went to our bedrooms to put away the clothes and the closet doors was hanging off the hinges so they wouldn't open so u couldn't use them and the be was also broken so when you laid down on it the legs would bend and the bed would fall. The DVD player did not work on the TV, and the couch in the living room was not at all comfortable to sit on let alone sleep on. You also had to walk about a mile down the boardwalk just to get to the beach. I did not like that either. Overall a terrible place to stay and will never stay there again!!!!!!

Enjoyable Location

September 9, 2013

Excellent location for access to everything Hilton Head has to offer! The resort was wonderful and had plenty to enjoy on site. The villa itself was well appointed, usable space (though we weren't there much except to sleep, as we really enjoyed and took advantage of the convenience to the beach and bike paths!). Easy access from the elevator, great storage for bikes, and plenty of parking. Nice villa and well-tended resort makes for relaxing vacation. Can't beat it for the price! Looking forward to booking again someday!

Average Villa

August 5, 2013

The Villa served it's purpose at best. The shuttle service to the beach was a joke. The boardwalk was about an 1/8 of a mile, so carrying beach supplies became difficult (purchased a roll about from local store), should have been provided for each villa. Linen and kitchen supplies low. Grounds were well maintained. Pool area and bar were nice. Would go back, now that I know the facilities.

AWESOME!!!!!

July 24, 2013

My family and I stayed in this condo and it was perfect. This was our second time booking with this renter and our second time to stay at Hilton Head Resort. Hands down I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a beautiful resort and an awesome condo. We are planning to return again next year.

Slow start, STRONG FINISH!

June 4, 2013

The mini-vacation started off a little rough due to the place not being as clean as I needed to be. However, the owner and cleaning stuff quickly took care of this matter. Kudos. Not the "best" view from the window, but a nice look at the court yard. One building away from both the indoor pool and spa and the outdoors pool/eatery/bar. GREAT SCENERY! The distance from the resort to the beach is a bit of a hike, but GREAT if you love to run or walk. Easy walk/run. There's a treat at the end as well. Coco's is a very nice on the beach, open area, eatery and bar. There is also a good shuttle service if you don't want to walk. The beach is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Smooth sand and very clean. We plan on coming back soon.

Nice views lot to do/see without leaving grounds

August 4, 2011

Ocean view villa - worth paying more. Walk to beach was a new ecology lesson each time. Villa had what we needed but could stand an update and some new working appliances/flatware and cookware. Saw our first alligator in one of the lagoons. Coco's beach bar was fun as well. Security on site is great. Entire area outside resort is beautiful - very elegant - no harsh signage ruining the natural beauty of island. Beach was wonderful - water temp was fantastic. kids enjoyed the pool and grill and for teenagers it is great to be able to do things w/o parents. Wish smoking wasn't allowed in any of the common areas. Great value for the money - especially with kids. would love go go back again. We chose this to be close to the Parris Island Marine Corp Base where our son graduated during our stay. Quick trip back and forth - he enjoyed a day there after his graduation.

Nicer than the pics

November 30, 2010

The unit is nicer than the pics. Whoever renovated it did a nice job with great taste and didn't do anything cheap. More like a home, not a hotel. The owners also provide everything you need to enjoy the resort (except beach towels) such as beach chairs, tennis rackets and even racquetball rackets, however, the outside court has no walls so not sure how that's considered racquetball. No shortage of tennis courts. The "cleaning Fee" you pay also provides you with a starter pack of some essentials like soap, paper towels, TP, dishwasher and laundry detergent. Things we had to buy when we rented a place in Folly Beach from a private party which wasn't fun as we discovered that fact AFTER we got there. BRING BOTTLED WATER. There's sulfur in the water and it stinks! There was always families at the indoor pool and jacuzzi at night, but barely no one in there during the day. Liked the privacy of the balcony of this unit vs many others in the resort have a "patio" that faces the walkway where everyone walks past you. The resort's restaurant, Coco's was closed for 4 the off-season. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but nice as it's a boardwalk over the marsh. VERY close to mall, TJMaxx, Grocery & NY Pizzeria. Don't bother with paying to see the minuscule "Harbortown Lights" unless you're planning to go for something else anyway.

great location

July 5, 2010

This place does not really have a beach view. If you go outside on the small deck, dodge the palm tree that is obstructing almost any view, stand on the far end in the corner and lean out against the railing and stand on your tippy toes - you can see the water. Not the shoreline. However, it is less than a hundred yards from the beach. It was easy to tote my two young children and their belongings to the beach every day. Also, next to the beach was a very large pool that my children thoroughly enjoyed. There was also showers to use inside the pool area and the end of the wooden walkway. This made our frequent daily trips to the beach much easier. We enjoyed the playground, the tennis wall (for wall ball), the gym (treadmills...)and the on-site bike rentals. The condo itself was very small and out dated, however, I did not rent this place to rest and relax inside. If you want a no-frills condo to enjoy the beach and outdoors, then this is the place for you.

Memorial Weekend

May 28, 2009

I probably didn't do the research I should have before staying at Hilton Head Resort. I was quite disappointed, not in the condo, but the resort itself. The condo was nice, but didn't have everything we needed in the kitchen, nor did it have tv's in the bedrooms. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

A Good Place To Stay

May 13, 2009

Although we had a great time and the owner of the store/restaurant was perfect, the villa itself was a little disappointing. The lightbulbs were blown and we replaced them, the TV in the bedroom wasn't working, and the resort itself wasn't what it looks like on the website. Between 1 and 10 I would give the villa a 7.

Clean, nicely decorated, wonderful stay

May 6, 2009

We stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed ourselves. The condo is very clean, modern and stylish. The resort is in a great location and was very affordable. The only downside was the long walk to the beach, but fortunately there were golf cart shuttles available. The buildings were undergoing construction, so there was some extra traffic from that. We saw dolphins right out in front of the resort on the beach during our stay and the kids had a blast! I would definitely go back. It was a great value for the price.
