Description of the Hilton Head vacation villa rental

This gorgeous villa has been completely renovated (spring 2011)--it is perfectly appointed and has been decorated with an eye for design and an attention to detail. The villa is equipped with two cabled televisions and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing and eating meals in.

We have a wonderful Resort property with lots of amenities, including 3 pools (one is an indoor heated one), beach access via private boardwalk, hot tub, sauna, kiddie pool, tennis courts (no additional fees), bike trails out in front that go all over the Island, poolside restaurant/convenience store (open March-October), and a beach cabana at the end of the boardwalk that serves food and drinks right on the beach (open March-October)!

Area Information

Our Resort is near grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, golf (Robert Trent Jones is right next door), miniature golf, arcade and a water park.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

Hot tub, sauna and grill are shared amenities. There are coin operated washers and dryers at the Resort, but not in the villas themselves. The ping pong and pool table are available at the Island Grill, located poolside. There may be a charge for using the pool table. WiFi is available in your villa for a small fee. The Island Grill and Deli, located poolside, also offers WiFi, as does Coco's on the Beach at the end of our boardwalk.

We had a wonderful vacation. This was our first time to Hilton Head and we will definitely be coming back. The beach was amazing and the ocean was warm. The villa was nice and only a short walk to the beach. This is definitely our new favorite place to vacation!!

We arrived on Saturday, June 25 to find that there was a problem with our condo. Another condo was located for us in a matter of minutes. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Nicer than the pics

The unit is nicer than the pics. Whoever renovated it did a nice job with great taste and didn't do anything cheap. More like a home, not a hotel. The owners also provide everything you need to enjoy the resort (except beach towels) such as beach chairs, tennis rackets and even racquetball rackets, however, the outside court has no walls so not sure how that's considered racquetball. No shortage of tennis courts. The "cleaning Fee" you pay also provides you with a starter pack of some essentials like soap, paper towels, TP, dishwasher and laundry detergent. Things we had to buy when we rented a place in Folly Beach from a private party which wasn't fun as we discovered that fact AFTER we got there. BRING BOTTLED WATER. There's sulfur in the water and it stinks! There was always families at the indoor pool and jacuzzi at night, but barely no one in there during the day. Liked the privacy of the balcony of this unit vs many others in the resort have a "patio" that faces the walkway where everyone walks past you. The resort's restaurant, Coco's was closed for 4 the off-season. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but nice as it's a boardwalk over the marsh. VERY close to mall, TJMaxx, Grocery & NY Pizzeria. Don't bother with paying to see the minuscule "Harbortown Lights" unless you're planning to go for something else anyway.

Clean, nicely decorated, wonderful stay

We stayed for 4 days and really enjoyed ourselves. The condo is very clean, modern and stylish. The resort is in a great location and was very affordable. The only downside was the long walk to the beach, but fortunately there were golf cart shuttles available. The buildings were undergoing construction, so there was some extra traffic from that. We saw dolphins right out in front of the resort on the beach during our stay and the kids had a blast! I would definitely go back. It was a great value for the price.
