Escape from everyday life. Experience the magic of Getaway Cabins! Quaint & cozy cabins and cottages nestled in the beautiful Hocking Hills of southern Ohio. All feature hot tub and fireplace, and accommodate 2-8 guests. Some cabins are secluded and off to themselves, while others are closer together to accommodate family and friends traveling together. Pets are accepted in designated cabins, and some feature wireless internet access, satellite TV, and wildlife feeding stations. Towels and linens, cookware and utensils are included-just bring your own food and toiletries, and we’ll take care of the rest! Cabins are suited for a honeymoon, anniversary, romantic weekend getaway, or family vacation. No matter what your ideal getaway includes, we have what you’re looking for.

Area Information

Why not take a short drive to Ohio¹s beautiful Hocking Hills? Think of it...just over an hour away are impressive cliffs, caves, waterfalls, and more than 2,300 acres to explore and enjoy. Whether it¹s hiking, biking, canoeing, horseback riding, rock climbing or fishing, Getaway Cabins can provide the perfect base for your escape. For unwinding, there is excellent fine dining, shopping and antiquing. At the end of the day, you can even add a gourmet meal prepared in your cabin or enjoy a relaxing massage...all in the privacy of your own cabin! Guests have as much privacy as they desire, but are always welcome to come just to chat or for help planning their activities for the day. The office is open seven days a week and has maps and brochures of area attractions as well as free movie rentals. There is no shortage of activities in the area, but you might find that you don’t even want to leave your cabin!

Stunning landscape and romantic cabin.

Hummingbird haven is the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway, it has everything you need if you just want to snuggle up and enjoy each other and it's close to stunning hiking trails. It was our first time in Ohio and we'll definitely be coming back, we hiked many of the local trails and visited the quaint shops throughout the hills then returned to our cabin each evening to enjoy the hot tub under the stars. We had deer and possum visit our back yard while we watched from the hot tub, it was truly amazing. We also spent 1 in Columbus visiting the downtown shops and the amazing east street market. Thank you Getaway Cabins for every thing we are closer than ever. Laura and James

great escape from reality. much needed quiet , relaxing down time. hot tub was the greatest thing ever for these extremely painful, tight, sore muscles. enjoyed watching the animals at the feeder. never knew ohio had such awesome natural beauty as in hocking state park. loved the hiking even in the bad weather. i didn't care for the black crow that carried on all night and all morning every night.of our stay. liked the journal idea. it was interesting reading about everyone else's stay. the phone at the office to call home was a life saver, as cell phones don't work. with four children and a sick elderly father at home , it was nice to be able to check in once in awhile . it was also nice not having the cell phone ringing every five minutes as well. really was pleased with the privacy of the cabin. staff was extremely nice and very helpful.

Had a great time. My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We are planning to try to come back during the summer.
