Great cabin, nice getaway,

We had a much needed weekend getaway here. The cabin had everything right, nice setting, furnishings, porch front and back, very close to Old Mans Cave. We enjoyed it very much.

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. It was perfect for an quiet weekend. We wish there had been a second chair by the outdoor firepit as was shown in the picture. The stump was a little uncomfortable. We did not use the hottub as the water was not very clean - that was a disappointment. Even with a few "bumps", we hope to return next year.

Perfect cabin for a couples getaway.

Very nice setup for a small couples cabin. Bed was comfortable. Great location close to Old Mans Cave and a little convenience store. Interior was spotless and decorated nice. The deck was a little dirty due to all the trees, and no broom to clean it off with. Overall a very nice cabin and would reccomend to anyone for a couples getaway.

Cozy getaway.

This cabin was very nice and cozy and a good size for two people. It was very quiet even though there were a few other cabins close by. My only complaint would be that the hot tub was a little dirty and looked like it needed to be drained. Other than that we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

Romantic Cozy Cabin

My hubby surprised me with a romantic weekend away for our anniversary. We loved this cute, cozy cabin. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the fall leaves fall in the warm hot tub and spent the afternoon lounging in the comfy bed watching movies by the fire. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need and is conveniently located just minutes from town; making it easy to run in for dinner or to a quick trip to WalMart for snacks and a Red Box movie :). We definitely are looking forward to coming back again.

Whispering Pines

We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. It was so private and peaceful. The only problem that occurred was that the satellite t.v. didn't work and we are huge football fans. When we arrived there was a note from housekeeping telling us the heating/cooling unit wasn't working properly so someone was sent out to fix it. He left us a note saying he couldn't fix it and left us a small heating unit. We used the fireplace but it was difficult because there weren't any fireplace tools. The fire didn't last long. My husband thought the wood may have been too dry. We would highly recommend this cabin to family and friends. It was home away from home. Sincerely, Allison Robertson
