Vacation Rental Description

Relaxing, getaway home on a quiet street, close (one mile) to the waterway and to the beach. The house is in a very nice development. It is walking distance to a nice book store with internet and coffee. You are only a two minute drive from fishing. We now have satellite tv.

Newly renovated mobile home with soft blue carpet throughout. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked with cooking tools and condiments you will need.

Living area has a nice television set with built-in DVD/CD player with a big selection of DVD's, VCR tapes, and CD's. The living room also has a sofa bed and nice new futon. The walls are tastefully decorated with ocean theme.

First bedroom is set-up for two children with Nemo comforters. The twin bunks are equipped with rails built for safety. In this room there is a small television/VCR combo with a big selection of tapes. There is also a nice tall chest of drawers and a good size closet for storing clothes and beach toys.

The bathroom is done in the same beach deco and comes complete with a full size bath tub and shower. Outside the bathroom you will find a washer and dryer set which will keep you from having to take home a week's worth of dirty laundry.

At the end of the hall you find the master bedroom with a queen size bed. The room also has a large closet.

The home is a late model home but has been redone to meet your needs. It is comfortable but not big enough to house a large group. We have slept seven there, but this was possible because three of them are small children.

All of the mattresses and the futon/mattress are all new and of good quality. Comforters and pillows will be provided for six.

The yard has recently and carefully been landscaped and therefore we would appreciate it if you park outside the chainlink fence. There's plenty of room to park your car outside the fence. We have put in lots of azaleas, yellow bells, dogwoods, and lots of other trees and bushes. The lawn is well grassed over and very comfortable for sitting or picnicking. At night you can hear the surf from the front yard. Outside you will be welcomed by a lighthouse and a stream of lights to help you find your way.

Great ice cream parlors, a book store, pizza/Chinese/subs, a driving range, ocean, waterway, all just seconds away.

Holden is famous for its beautiful, family-oriented beach, and its fantastic fishing and seafood.

When you stay at Holden Beach, you are within thirty minutes of Calabash Seafood, the USS Battleship, the Orton Plantation, Ocean Drive, the rides of Myrtle Beach, and so much more.
