This lovely home has the best of both worlds - lakefront location and just 5 miles away from a beautiful family oriented beach!
Star Island is nestled on a cul-de-sac street in the mature and quiet residential neighborhood of Aloha Gardens in Holiday, Florida Which is just 22 minutes north of beautiful Clearwater, Florida and Clearwater Beach.

LEISURE
Start your morning out on the lanai with a cup of coffee, at the beach, bird watching, cast your rod in the freshwater outback for some fishing or play a round of golf, then end your evening in one of the many nearby restaurants for some food and fun or watch the sunset with a nice drink in hand down by the waters edge on the huge oversized deck out back.

COMFORT
This fully furnished home is tastefully decorated with a coastal cozy décor and furniture. Fresh and New from bed linens to silverware.
You're sure to get a good nights sleep on one of our 4-inch memory foam mattress topped beds that also have pillow top mattress covers and 4 pillows each! Bed linens are also provided for each bed.
The Family Room also has a pull-out Queen Sofa Bed (2 pillows).

EXTRA SPECIAL TOUCHES
Bathroom has curved rod for a more roomy shower, a relaxing rainfall shower head, and for that extra special touch... a stained glass window which overlooks the lake.

Anclote River Park offers something for everyone in the family, such as the boat launching area for the fisherman in the family, while the ladies can take in some sun on the beautiful beach and the little ones are sure to love the playground area! Best of all it's only 5 miles away!

PARK - BEACHES
Howard Park and Clearwater Beach are Beautiful Gulf Beaches which are a little further but still within reach of the more avid cyclist. There are several designated bike paths throughout the area to get you to most points of interest.

Designed for kids, both young and old, Congo River is a cool place where you play miniature golf in view of a waterfall, feed the gators and play a variety of games in the arcade.
Located near Busch Gardens, this is a great place to while away an afternoon or spent a couple of hours enjoying a few laughs at the mini-golf course.
After sinking that last hole-in-one, stop by Mel's Hot Dogs, just a short drive down Busch, for what may be the greatest hot dog in town.

Wear comfy walking shoes and spend the day at this 300-acre park.
You can even taste the Anheuser Busch brew that started it all.

From four-foot waves in the Endless Surf wave pool to body flumes, twisting water slides and thrill rides that splash and slither, this 26-acre park at Busch Gardens is as much fun for I'm-a-kid-again adults as it is for children.
Open March to October, the park keeps varying hours that generally run from 10am-6pm daily. Hours change, however, so it's wise to check.

Had a very nice time in this nicely furnished home. Had great mornings sitting out on dock with coffee viewing all diffrent sorts of wildlife.Plenty of very good beaches in short driving distance.Clearwater was my favorite,only 20mins away.Plenty of stores around for all types of shopping.Defenitely check out Capt Jacks Restaraunt on alt19 near the sponge docks(also very intresting)Home has everything you need to enjoy your stay there.Ride the bikes it has or enjoy an evening walk around the neighborhood to view all the beautiful scenery.As i have said previous,VERY NICE PLACE!!!

Just returned from week long stay in Holiday.Had a wonderful time and this home is very coastal cozy in a great location. Did many day trips to Orlando, Tampa nearby Tarpon Springs, great beaches(Honeymoon Island and Clearwater. Was great to return to quiet home and relax with beautiful lake view just steps from back door. Early morning coffee on Lanai enjoying neighborhood wildlife(turtles, egrets,fishing from attatched dock). If you come here defintely check out the food and shopping at nearby Tarpon Springs. We also booked a day long fishing trip at the sponge docks(great fun). If planning more than one day trip into Orlando, I would suggest connecting the days and maybe stay overnight there as the drive after a long park day was a little rough. If your looking for a little nearby nightlife, we enjoyed Captain Jack's, good food, music and drinks on a dock location. We taveled by air to Tampa International a short 25 minute drive. We had a great time and would recommend this home.
