Description of the Holiday Island vacation cottage rental
Bluewater Drive #65-4 (Shadowridge #4) is a semi-secluded two-bedroom two-bathroom lakeside duplex. Beautiful hardwood and ceramic tile floors throughout and decorated in country charm. Master bedroom has king bed, private bath, 19" TV with DVD/VCR. Second bedroom has king bed, 25" TV, and DVD/VCR. Living room has queen sleeper sofa, fireplace, 37-inch flat screen LCD TV with DVD, stereo, and sliding glass doors to private deck. Fully equipped kitchen. Central heat and air conditioning with ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. Large 10 by 20 foot deck with it’s own personal six-person hot tub and an adjoining door to #3 for groups. Gas grill. NO SMOKING. Reduced winter rates are available from November 1st - April 30th.

Spend a romantic evening relaxing in the soothing waters of the hot tub overlooking the peaceful serenity of the lake. Watch deer and other wildlife emerge as nightfall descends and nature begins her daily symphony of night sounds. Large level yard with plenty of room for children to play. Surrounded by trees and open fields. Walk 100 yards down to the lake and fish from the bank or launch a canoe. Semi-circle driveway for easy boat parking, and only 1/8th mile from the full service marina where pontoon, fishing, and ski boats may be rented. For the guest with exercise in mind, there is a walking trail that goes right by the edge of the yard.

We are located in Holiday Island in the heart of the Ozark Mountains on Table Rock Lake, which has 900 miles of shoreline. Branson Missouri and Silver Dollar City are within an easy hour's drive, and downtown Historic Eureka Springs and The Great Passion Play are less than a ten minute drive.

Holiday Island is a great place for family reunions. Together, Shadowridge #2, #3 and #4 will sleep 18 adults and we have more properties only a few hundred yards down the street. We also have larger two, three, four, and five bedroom rental properties to accommodate entire families. We have lakeside, mountain top, and golf course properties, many with Jacuzzis or hot tubs, fireplaces, private decks, great views, and BBQ grills. All of our rental properties are fully furnished and have fully equipped kitchens. You can view individual prices, descriptions, and photos of all our properties at our home page.

There are many activities in Holiday Island which are available to you as our guest. The recreation center on the Island has two large swimming pools; basketball and tennis courts; table and paddle tennis; shuffleboard; horseshoe pits; and miniature golf. All of the recreation center amenities are available for one very reasonable daily fee. Also available at reasonable rates (reservations required) are softball fields; picnic pavilion; meeting rooms; the golf course clubhouse; and The Barn. Holiday Island has two premier golf courses (25% discount as our guests). A nine-hole course on the Island and an 18-hole course. The Holiday Island beach is available to all guests and you are invited to use our motel pool free of charge.

Deposits: Rates are for 2 guests. Additional guest are $5 extra per night, children under 12 stay free. Pay for 6 nights and the 7th is free! We charge $10 extra per night for holiday & special event periods. We charge a deposit equal to 50% of your stay when the reservation is made. Cancellation fee is the greater of $30 or 6% of the deposit if you cancel 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you are a no show or cancel less than 72 hours prior to arrival, you will be charged for the entire stay.

Other Fees: We charge a $25 pet fee per pet per stay and at check in we charge a refundable $200 pet damage deposit ($200 for up to 2 pets, $100 more for each additional pet). The pet deposit is refunded once the property has been cleaned and checked for damage by housekeeping. We do occasionally take a one night only rental on a case by case basis. There is an additional $35 cleaning fee for one night only stays that we do not charge for stays of two or more nights.

The Perfect Getaway

This location was perfect for my husband and our parents. We were surprised by how well the property was kept. Everything we needed for the weekend was there. We really enjoyed the opportunity to bring our two dogs. This was the only location we saw that had access to the lake. There was about a 50yard walk but we were able to carry a canoe down and launch. The dogs truly enjoyed the access to the water along with the paved trail right behind the home which we utilized. We would certainly stay at the property again if we are in the Eureka area.

Great, clean cabin!

The location and amenities in this cabin can't be beat. It's just steps from the water, had a fantastic hot tub, two nice size hot tubs, and it's only 6 miles from Eureka. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our vacation

Val's condo

The condo we rented from Val was awesome. It was clean, and had comfortable beds. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and we loved cooking on the deck. Get away weekend with friends

The property was very nice, comfortable, great location away from Eureka Springs (probably only 5 -6 miles) The hot tub was a big plus. The kitchen could use some shelfpaper and restocking on casserole dishes, etc. if you plan to do much cooking. Beds were very comfortable, nice decor. We used the walking path which was nice. Great view from the deck of the lake.

we stayed for two nights. The condo was clean and had a lakeview. We were on ground level which was nice. They have three pools. It was too chilly to swim but the kids swam twice regardless. The pool across from our condo was gorgeous. Hammocks in the trees, big beds to lay out on. Free wifi, a jacuzzi tub in the king suite. We had four adults and two kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. Plenty of kitchen amenities, on the first Morning of our stay, we had a courtesy call to see if we needed anything. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking to get away.

Rest,Relaxation,and Recreation

AWESOME!

We had the most relaxing, wonderful time here. We got married on 1/11/11 and decided we just needed a couple of nights away for a honeymoon. So we headed to this wonderful location thinking the hot tub would be relaxing and we would enjoy a nice day of shopping and touring Eureka Springs. This place was so cozy and peaceful that we never left! We cooked, grilled and watched the wildlife from our hot tub and just relaxed. Totally got away from the world! The place is clean and wonderful and we will go back again soon!

Relaxing Place To Be

I took my mom for her first visit to Eureka Springs and while I would have loved to stay at a downtown hotel, it would have been too expensive for this trip. I found this wonderful condo online. Pleasantly surprised

We spent two nights and had such a wonderful time we plan on coming back. The duplex was very clean and updated with all the amenities of home ++. It was a little chilly so the fireplace was a very romantic touch after enjoying the fabulous hot tub. Waking up to the beautiful view of the lake was awesome! We were enjoying Eureka so much which was only 8 minutes away that we didn't have a chance to use the bbq. I would highly recommend this as an affordable place to stay with all the comforts of home!!!

Getaway

My Wife and I booked a week at Shadowridge #4 Holiday Island. We live North of Chicago, needless to say we were looking for a break in the weather. we didn't have the greatest weather but enjoyed our time there the condo was very nice and well located.
