Description of the Holly Lake Ranch vacation cabin rental
Unwind in our two bedroom two bath cabin in Holly Lake Ranch located in East Texas. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway then check this one out!
Our cozy cabin is situated on two heavily wooded lots. You have a choice of either kicking back in the comfortable den flipping through 100 plus channels or sitting out on the front porch watching deer, squirrels and other wildlife as they forage for food.
For an extra charge, we have an RV pad and hookups on our lot. Invite that family member, friend or neighbor and their RV for a relaxing and fun time at Holly Lake Ranch!
We also have covered parking attached to our home to keep you out of the elements!
We provide most everything you need to relax and feel at home!
If You Check Our Availability Calendar And The Dates You Want Are Booked, Please Check With Us Anyway As We Have Three Cabins!!!
Area Information
One of the lakes is less than 2 miles from our home.
There are also various churches located right outside the ranch all of different denominations for your Sunday worship time.
As you can see, there is plenty to do here at Holly Lake Ranch or just relax in the quiet solitude of our home in the woods!

There are 4 restaurants/grills in Holly Lake Ranch. Four Seasons at Holly Lake is located on Golf Drive adjacent to the 18th Green. 19th Hole Restaurant is also located on Golf Drive adjacent to the practice green and the 18th Green. Activity Center Grill is on the East side of the ranch behind the putt-putt course. Holly Hut is located on Holly Lake and offers burgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and candy. They also provide boat rentals, rod and reel rentals and worms and minnows.

I was lucky enough to rent this home over my family's spring break. My husband, daughter and I spent 4 nights in this cabin and loved every minute of it. The home has comfortable beds and living room furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped and the location is lovely! Can't wait for the next trip! Lovely Secluded Home

My husband, daughter and I were looking for a quiet, secluded place near my parents' home. This was the perfect home. The furniture was comfortable and the entire house was well-equipped (towels, dishes, coffeemaker, etc). We stayed 9 nights at Holly Lake Ranch. Beautiful country. Great cabin. Nice, clean and comfortable -- no bugs!!! There are a lot of amenities at Holly Lake Ranch. We saw 8-10 deer every day which we enjoyed. Good place to rest. Wished we golfed because the golf courses were beautiful. Enjoyed the antique shops and restaurants in Mineola.

We spent 5 wonderful nights in the Tree House and loved it. The tree house is nestled in large pine trees and wildlife. The Pridemores are very accomindating. The house was comfortably furnished and clean. All we had to bring were our clothes and our food. We have family who live in the area and plan to definately return to a Pridemore cabin.

Everything was as expected and very nice as far as the cabin. The equipment rentals (paddle boats etc) were in great need of repair but when we brought it to their attention they did get on that right away. All and all a very nice stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse cabin Over Memorial day weekend. It was deep in the woods At Holly lake ranch. We loved the treehouse feel and high Rise view. We saw tons of deer and other wildlife All throughout the area. The cabin was decorated In a comfortable and cozy decor. It had everything We needed except food. The owners were very Helpful and gracious. We will definitely want to visit Again.

Perfect Retreat

Our family stayed over the Christmas holiday, and it was simply delightful. A roaring fireplace everynight complete with cookies and hot cocoa. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Holly Lake community. Deer were plentiful, and grazed the yard in the early morning and evening. Such a pleasant time. It just took the stress out of the holidays for us. Mrs. Pridemore was so sweet to have Chrismas decorations all throughout the cabin, and chocolate candy waiting our arrival. We love it, and hope to return when warmer weather arrives.

Linda & Mike, We enjoyed your cabin and our stay there. The cabin was cozy, clean, comfortable and very well-supplied, with everything we needed, during our stay. HLR is a great place to get away from everything, do nothing, and just relax. It is only an hour and 1/2 drive, but a world away from daily life. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, with coffee, in the mornings, watching the birds and the deer. Your location, in a less busy part of the ranch, is ideal for long walks, without being bothered by much automobile traffic; and, the proximity to our friends, just a short walk away, was perfect for visiting. We love this place! This is the second year we've gone to spend time at Linda & Mike's place. The house is clean and well stocked. I loved watching my kids have fun. What a treat! This lovely cabin tucked in the forest is simple and in harmony with nature, yet provides cozy furnishings and modern conveniences. Very clean -- no grime, zero indoor insects, not even any cobwebs. Two nice bathrooms, good shower and shower/tub, well-appointed kitchen with up-to-date appliances. Washer/dryer work great. Buy groceries at the Brookshires 10 miles away in Hawkins and you're set. Comfy beds and linens. Great TVs in living area and master bedroom, both with many channels via DirectTV. Gas grill cooked both burgers & steaks to perfection. Lots of grazing, romping, even napping deer families in the yard. :-) Highly recommend this rental for a back-to-basics family reconnection. If you golf, be aware there are 2 Holly Lake course starts daily and plan accordingly. Good Wifi at Activity Center. Property owners friendly, accommodating & delivered on all promises. We will go back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable and in a very peaceful location. The lake community had many outstanding activities for the whole family. One favorite for the entire family was having the deer come to the house at dusk.

We had an enjoyable time nestled in the woods, but still close to neighbors. The cabin was very nice and comfortable for five adults and one toddler. Everyone was friendly and watching the deer in the yards was so much fun. The only problem was that we were too far away from grocery stores, restaurants, etc. (the main restaurant on the ranch was closed)

We had a super time at Holly Lake Rance. The beauty of deer eating leaves beside the porch was only matched by the friendly people we met. The fish were biting in the cove, and we didn't have any mosquitos! Amazing! The cabin was very clean and well equipped. We will be returning.

Dear Pridemores,
Your cabin allowed us to be together much more as a family as we prepared and participated in our son's wedding.
The grandbabies were able to nap and play. We enjoyed fixing our own meals when we came "home". None of which would have happended with the family spread out in 3 motel rooms.
Beting able to take walks, watch the deer and play miniature golf were all bonuses.

It was a truly enjoyable 5-day retreat for me and my wife and 21 month old daughter. We had a blast taking morning strolls up and down the peaceful roads. It was even more fun in the evenings with the sheer peace and quiet. My little girl got a hoot out of the numerous does that sauntered in and out of the front yard for their morning breakfasts and midday brunch. Well worth the effort to make this trip and look foward to returning in the not too distant future.

I'm so glad we chose this cabin. We have had an awesome time here! After a busy day of swimming and playing coming back to the cabin and relaxing on the front porch was the highlight of the day. My kids said this was the "best vacation ever!" Watching all the deer and squirrels was so much fun for the kids. Thanks for everything - hope to be back next summer!
