Discount of 10% off listed prices for stays of 4 or more nights. Children aged 2 years or younger are not included in the headcount and stay FOC.
The number of guests/visitors will be strictly enforced by the Holly Lake Ranch front gate and security guards.
Area Information
The East Texas area is well known for its abundance of antique shops, malls and dealers; ideal for those seeking a nostalgic connection with the past. There are also many area lakes - such as Lake Palestine, Lake Hawkins, Lake Fork and Lake of the Pines - which offer extensive water-related activities from fishing to water skiing. Tyler: Caldwell Zoo in Tyler - For the youngsters, the popular Caldwell Zoo is a 45-minute ride and features a host of wildlife and a petting zoo.

We will be visiting the Cox House over Memorial Day weekend. This will be our 3rd stay at the Cox House. This property is amazing! Great location, beautifully furnished, beds are comfy, linens are great quality. Plenty of room for everyone in our group! The kitchen is very well stocked. We have rented many homes/condos over the years and my biggest pet peeve is the kitchen. Not so at the Cox house! We had EVERYTHING we needed to prepare meals every day. The grounds are beautiful! The porch is great for bird watching, deer watching and just enjoying a cool beverage. We all loved fishing off the dock! My 14 year daughter caught a 5lb bass off the dock last summer. The Community Center has a great pool and snack bar when the kids wanted to cool off! We ABSOLUTELY love this place! Did I mention that the managers, Roger and Mary Ann are just wonderful people? They are so pleasant to deal with and willing to go above and beyond! You will not regret renting the Cox House. We have made some wonderful memories here and look forward to making many more!

Class Reunion

Wonderful place to have a small class reunion, girls get-together, or family reunion. We had a small graduating class and it was ideal for that activity. Lots of parking, large open rooms with lots of amenities. The guys enjoyed the fishing. Would love to use it again.

The Cox house was more of a "home" with so many games and movies provided you just felt "at home". The large game room was a great place for the guys to shoot pool and escape from all activities. The fishing was great we brought two boats and caught plenty of crappie for a big fish fry. The wildlife were very active seeing deer, raccons,and squirrels every day. Did I mention the eight (8) rocking chairs that all ages enjoyed every day looking down into the lake? We had four generations present and had adequate space including bathroom space for all of us. The peace and quiet was wonderful even though we did have five under six years of age for a while. Roger ( the property manager) was very gracious and informative. Great For Family Reunion

Our 5 sibling families and 98 year old mother gathered for Mother's day. The Cox house was ideal for our get-together. The kitchen is well equipped, the dining table large and the rocking chairs an extra benefit. We didn't have children, but the bunk beds would be more comfortable for children than adults. Rental was easy and Holly Lake Ranch is a nice place to spend a few days.

To express my impression of the experience at Holly Lake Ranch I must first state without reservation that we are planning to go back this summer. The house was not a rental house it was a home. The home was well appointed. The owners treated us as house guest. Everything that you need for daily living was there. There is plenty of room. The bedding is of fine quality. The appliances are top of the line. In addition, there is so many activities on property until you or your family will not have need to leave the ranch unless you choose to leave the ranch. Oh by the way, you may be blessed by having a herd of deer come to the front porch. The porch, the gameroom upstairs, the sunroom are just additional features.

At Holly Lake for a wedding and needed a large house for couples and college-age kids. This house was perfect! Clean, all the right ammenities. Loved the porch! And the fireplace! Super nice people to work with! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the peaceful and beautiful surroundings!

Rented while family visiting from Florida. Beautiful property felt right at home immediately. Had a wonderful time here cooking and playing games that were provided. Plenty of extra linens and towels. A little too warm upstairs for adequate heat downstairs, but not a real problem. Slept 12 comfortably. Enjoyed watching deer and squirrels and lovely view of lake. Look forward to renting again! Mgrs very accomodating.

We have been to this lake house several times over the years. We try other places but keep coming back to this one because it's our favorite. Lovely roomy house with a long wrap-around porch facing the lake, and the porch has rockers and a grill and deck. Spring and fall are our favorite times to go. We go out on the deck and look at the stars...millions of them, which we don't get to see in the city. So quiet there too. Peaceful. There are usually deer outside in the mornings.Fully equipped kitchen. Nice, clean bedrooms. Big living room with windows that look out at the lake. The price is high, but we go with three other couples so it divides the cost by four. Well worth every penny.

Sometimes the pictures look better than the actual. This was NOT the case for this property. This is great property for 3 couples with up to 6 children. Roger and Mary (managers) were wonderful hosts and bent over backwards to assist us. The house and property are beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We greatly enjoyed watching deer in the yard and raccoons on the back porch! The experience was great. This would be a great summer week getaway. Fishing, swimming, and golf are all right in Holly Lakes Ranch. We have found a new escape from Dallas!

A group of nine of us enjoyed a great spring weekend at this lake house. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen had lots of cooking tools, pots and pans etc. and there were tons of games, books and movies. We loved the view from the porch and from the dock. The property was pretty and peaceful. The only reason we did not give five stars is that the upstairs A/C did not work so our friends sleeping up there got very hot at night! Otherwise a perfect weekend!
