Please note: After March 31, we are only looking for year long lease at $6200 a month.

Imagine spending a week in a brand new luxury home in the Heart of Hollywood, (not in Hollywood Hills, not in the suburbs, but IN Hollywood) a few minute’s walk to the Academy Awards, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Hollywood Bowl, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, The Roosevelt Hotel, The Pantages Theater, Madame Tussaud’s, The Chinese-Mann Theater and so much more. Imagine being a 13 minute walk to the Hollywood metro, which gets to Universal Studios in 3 minutes or to downtown Los Angeles in 22 minutes. Imagine staying in a Los Angeles home that's a 'Walker's Paradise' at "Walkscore." Please see reviews at the bottom.

Set inside the gated Hollywood Colony, this magnificent, NON-SMOKING, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath new home (completed in July, 2013) sleeps up to 14 people and features 3 stories of modern elegant rooms and furnishings with hardwood floors, classic movie posters and enormous windows throughout in addition to a rooftop terrace with views of Hollywood.

And now, if you want to spice up your stay even more, we can provide a private in-house chef to make a gourmet meal or give cooking lessons for you and your guests. We also offer a private masseuse to come to your home and provide a soothing massage. See 'Other Amenities' section below for more information.

Enter home on ground floor and find two large bedrooms. The 'Bunk Bed Room' features duel triple sleeper bunk beds (each bunk has a twin-size on top and a full-size futon on the bottom) that sleep 6 people in all and has bean bags, a 42 inch plasma HDTV with internet apps like Netflix and an X-Box Kinect gaming console with games. The 'Garbo Room' features a king size bed that sleeps 2 people, a 42 inch plasma HDTV with internet apps like Netflix and direct access to a bathroom with shower. Both downstairs rooms open through sliding doors to a shared patio.

Go up the hardwood stairs to the 2nd floor and an open-air room with kitchen, dining and living room areas. Kitchen features brand-new stainless steel appliances and a large white lacquer island in the middle that seats up to five people. Off the kitchen is a half-bath and a laundry room with brand new front-loading washer/dryer.

Look out from the kitchen towards the dining area to a chic, modern extendable dining table that seats up to 12 people comfortably. Step over from the dining room into the living room and find a 55-inch flat screen HDTV with internet apps like Netflix, two fold out futon-couches that each sleep 1 person comfortably or 2 people in a pinch and a lounge chair. Off the living room is a deck with a table and chairs.

Ascend another flight of hardwood stairs, to the third story and the 'Bogart Room' -- with a stunning platform king size bed that sleeps 2 people, a 42 inch flat-screen plasma HDTV with internet apps like Netflix, a full bath and its own private balcony with table and chairs – perfect for a night-cap. Across the hall is the “Marilyn Room”, with a queen size bed that sleeps 2 people, a 32-inch flat screen TV and a private bath with a shower.

Walk up the final flight of stairs to an enormous roof-top terrace with views of Hollywood, featuring a gas grill, a mini-fridge, a sink, a 6-seat outdoor dining table and a 7-seat casual sitting area.

The home offers high speed wi-fi, wi-fi-enabled TVs with cable and numerous “apps” like Netflix and Hulu, central A/C and heat, 2 tandem parking spots (one car behind the other) in a completely gated and quiet community.

PRICING (please read entire pricing section, and please note that our prices are subject to change at any time and without notice)

Pricing for this property for stays of 3 weeks or less is as follows (for stays greater than 3 weeks, please contact us).

Minimum stay at any time is 5 days, however, we make occasional exceptions for stays of 3-4 days:

Prime season: $325 per night for 4 people, ($350 per night beginning Dec 20, 2013) plus $20 per person (adult or children) per night beyond 4 people. (So, for example, 10 people would be $325 per night for the first 4 people, then $20 per night for the next 6 people, or $120 per night more for the additional 6 people. $325 + $120 = $445 per night for 10 people.)

Off season: $225 per night for four people, plus $15 per person (adult or children) per night beyond four people. (so, for example, ten people would be $225 per night for the first four people, then $15 per night for the next six people, or $90 per night more for the additional six people. $225 + $90 = $315 per night for ten people.)

Additional charges on all stays:

Cleaning fees…mandatory $200 cleaning fee at the end of your stay, regardless of how long you stay. This mandatory cleaning fee is $250 for parties of ten people or more. Additionally, if you stay longer than ten days, then on every 7th day of your stay there is a mandatory $75 light cleaning fee.

Taxes…stays of 30 days or less incur 14% Los Angeles city tax on rent and cleaning fees.

Property Damage Protection...$49.

Prime season:

May 27, 2013 to Sept 2, 2013.
Nov 22, 2013 to Dec 1, 2013.
Dec 20, 2013 to Jan 5, 2014 (7 day minimum stay)
April 11, 2014 to April 27, 2014.
May 23, 2014 to Sept 1, 2014.

We are not currently accepting reservations beyond September 1, 2014.

Rules and notifications

Please note six very important things about this property before you book it:

First, this is a quiet community, and all tenants in or on this property must agree to not disturb any neighbors with noise, partying, sports or any other loud or commotion-causing activities. If you intend to make noise or party, this is not the right house for you.

Second, this is an entirely non-smoking property. No smoking or burning of candles or incense in the house, on the decks, on the roof, or on the patio.

Third, construction of additional homes is taking place now adjacent to the property. We have lived in the house and the construction has not been disruptive but it is possible at some point that the construction may make bothersome noise, and if you believe this noise might disturb you, please do not stay here.

Fourth, we check references.

Fifth, the primary renter must be 26 years of age or older.

Sixth, we operate on a first come, first serve basis, meaning that once we have references checked, payment made and cleared in our bank account and an executed rental agreement in place the property is yours, but until then, it remains on the market. Sorry for this – we’ve just learned from experience that operating any other way leaves the property empty last-minute too frequently.

Wow, this property was amazing. It is a new 3 level plus rooftop patio unit that is part of a small gated community and is a short 10 minute walk to the heart of Hollywood where you will find the Grauman Theatre, the walk of stars, Madame Tussauds, Ripley's Believe it or Not, Hollywood Bowl, fantastic restaurants, live street entertainment and a whole lot more. What made this stay especially comfortable are all of the touches that that owners put into their unit. Everything from air conditioning, high speed internet on all floors and rooftop patio, a wireless printer, netflix, lots of towels and toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as lots of extras like a fancy corkscrew, blender, basic food items and even safety equipment in-case of fire. I haven't seen anything like it at any other rental. You won't need a car if all you want to do is go to Hollywood, however everything else in LA is west of this location and within easy driving distance. We never used transit so I'm not sure how good it is. Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive are only 10-15 minutes away by car, Santa Monica and the Getty Center are 30 - 45 minutes. We drove Mulholland Drive at night which took us along the ridge of the Beverly Hills and the view of the other side of the hills looking toward Burbank was amazing. With all that said, no unit is ever perfect, and there are two things that you should be aware of in case you are really sensitive to either of them. First, this community is expanding so at this point there is a little construction going on next door, but they really weren't very noisy and we actually found it fascinating to watch. The other is that this gated community is within an older neighborhood. We felt completely safe, but if what you are looking for is a 5 star rental in a 5 star neighborhood, this unit is a 5 star rental in a 3 star neighborhood. For us, this unit was perfect and I recommend it highly to anyone coming to Los Angeles.

Owner Response: Lee, Thanks so much. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the property. The Hollywood area is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world, and it definitely draws some interesting characters. We find that there are always LOTS of people walking around even late at night, so we always feel safe but as in any global, major city, caution is always advised. Be well. We hope to see you again soon. Thanks, Kurt and Mia

My family stayed at this property and we were so impressed with the space, decor, furniture and all the amenities it had. The owner was so helpful with direct instructions, and also with assisting us in giving highlights of the town and the areas near Hollywood. It was the best vacation I have ever had, and to be honest, we could have just stayed in this beautiful home and not done anything else. The place is beautiful. The pictures online don't do it justice, it's wonderful!

What you see is what you will get and much more. This beautiful property was laid out wonderfully..This was an adult getaway and we had more room than what we really needed. We can't stop talking about this place and how wonderful Kurt the owner was during our stay. When I called or texted him he responded right away and yeah the basket full of goodies was nice too! This property was located right in central Hollywood close to everything. It's in a gated community which was nice because we did not have to worry about people coming in on the property unless they lived there. This was actually the best trip ever! We live in Virginia and it was our first trip to LA and there was so much to do there and being in downtown Hollywood made everything so convenient. We will definitely be back and plan to rent this property again. Thanks to Kurt and Mia for such a wonderful place that made our stay so much more memorable.

My husband and I just spent a week here with 4 children, and it was perfect! Gorgeous home was sparkling clean and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Layout was perfect for our family - our boys loved the downstairs kids room with X-Box and bunk beds! We loved the rooftop terrace and the view at night was so pretty. The owners are very friendly and were kind enough to leave us a welcome basket filled with a bottle of wine and goodies! Great location - was close to just about everything we wanted to do!
