Description of the Honolulu vacation condo rental

This is a completely and recently upgraded Ilikai ocean front unit, with a mesmerizing direct ocean facing & lagoon view. Walk in the front door and the ocean view greets you head on - no need to step out on lanai and look to your right to see the ocean. Whale-watch or gaze at the surf break from your lanai...

High-end upgrades include beautiful granite kitchen and bar counter, hardwood oak cabinetry, designer paint, chiseled edge travertine flooring, laminate wood flooring, custom marble tiled shower, all new fixtures.

This unit will include all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including all cookware, beach towels, beach chairs and beach gear. Enjoy a leisurely stay at one of the few true oceanfront properties on Oahu's South Shore, just steps to the water.

This is a true one bedroom, with hardwood sliding door panels between the living area. The living area features a CS Wo designer sofa bed and a flat panel TV. The bedroom features a queen sized bed and a twin bed, both outfitted with high thread count linens. This suite is equipped with air conditioning, Wifi internet access.

Area Information

Located next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. One of the few condo-hotels on the ocean side of the main thoroughfare going through Waikiki. A short stroll to the ocean and also the newly revitalized Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. Out of the noisy, hustle and bustle of the Waikiki shopping area, so that you can relax in paradise and enjoy the beautiful South Shore of Oahu.

Close to world class dining, shopping and lots of entertainment and activities. A short stroll to Ala Moana beach park or Ala Moana Shopping Center.

Gorgeous ocean view

We travelled to Oahu with our 2 sons, and stayed at the Ilikai for a week. We just loved the view off our lanai and ate all our meals outside, it was peaceful...the Ilikai staff were great and the services there included a coffee bar, restaurant, hair salon, market to name a few. The location of this property drew us to stay there, it is in a nice area, far less tourists, and right beside the 5-star Hilton Hawaiian Resort. It was a 2 minute walk to the HH Lagoon and sandy beach. If you like walking, there is a nice paved path which meanders along the ocean and in front of the open air hotel restaurants, taking you right down to the Royal Hawaiian Resort and Outrigger Hotel. At this end of the strip you are shoulder to shoulder on the beach with everyone...so we only spent a couple of hours there while our sons tried surfing. In our condo we had everything we could possibly need, it was just a matter of picking up groceries and making ourself at home. We found Dainora very professional and a pleasure to communicate with...all of our needs were met completely. The only slight drawback with this property is that the pool area is on the small side...with lounge chairs in short supply. We noted that this area is going to be re-designed soon, and that will be a plus to have a larger area to accommodate the number of guests that stay here. We were very happy to stay at the Ilika and would return if our path ever takes us this way again.
