Great location. We stayed two months without renting a car; walked or took the bus everywhere. Exactly as advertised, well equipped unit. Pool, free laundry on site. Free newspaper every day, beautiful lobby, nice game room, great security, safe neighborhood!

Upon arrival after a five hour flight the Royal Garden was beautiful. There was a couple in from of us who were complaining about a deposit. No biggie, I knew we paid in full for our room months prior. Well there was a $150 charge thrown on my husband and I also. I reviewed my confirmation and in big bold letters it said grand total Paid in full. Shane who was the desk clerk called over Wendy the front office manager and she was rude. Very rude I repeat . We got attitude from her and she was not professional one bit. She stated the confirmation was from a third party and that was their grantotal. That it's policy at the hotel to charge $150 or they couldn't rent us a room and we could go elsewhere. I stated that's fine just give us a refund and we can go elsewhere she then stated that we would have to receive the money from a third party not the hotel. But when calling the third party they stated royal gardens revived the money in full up front already. Obviously we were stuck which is fine I advised her if your gonna work with third parties it would be a good idea to get everyone on the same page so their wasn't surprises for the guests upon arrival. She picked up te phone and advised our third party of the 150.00 charges almost like mockingly. Then I took out cash for the deposit and of course theirs a problem with cash. They don't accept it for deposits. I advised her that I had cash only. She then stated we can take it but you would get a refund check in about one month. At this time I was so apauled by her customer service skills as a manager my vacation was starting to feel horrible like I made the worst mistake staying at this Hotel. Overall the hotel it's self was great. Concierge was nice and apologized and was very delighted to have us there. Room service staff was always quick and courteous. A long walk to everything on the strip but I would look else where next time because of the rude service from a Manager. Also upon check out we were greated by a staff member and he called Wendy over to verify if a check was really to be issued a month later and she never once made eye contact or asked how our stay was. Not how I really thought a manager would act. What happened to putting the customer first.

The room was spacious, bed was heavenly and the kitchentte equipped with hot plate, microwave and fridge was really convenient. There was renovations, but it didn't bother us as we were gone for most of the day! We found free parking on the street too! Would definitely stay here again!
