Relax into this peaceful 4 Bedroom/ 2 Bath retreat in the country and only 10 minutes to Hood River with gorgeous view over the Hood River valley. completely charming newly renovated adorable farmhouse. Lovely fenced lawn with playground structure/swings for children! Perfect for families.

New kitchen/baths, wood floors, Granite countertops & custom cabinets, stone tile bathrooms, clawfoot tub, Fully equipped kitchen. New landscaping. Ample storage for sports gear in easy access locked basement. A/C . Wireless and satellite TV.

Huge property offers escape into vast beautiful landscape.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Living room has a queen size futon in case there is need for more sleeping options.

Area Description

The City of Hood River is located on the Columbia Gorge at the confluence of The Hood River. This area is a mecca of outdoor activity in the Pacific Northwest. The Columbia River Gorge region is a paradise rich with natural splendor. There is something here for everyone.

Windsurfers and Kite Boarders, Hood River has amazing sailing sites on the Columbia River.

Skiers and Snowboarders, you have your choices of Mt. Hood Meadows, Cooper Spur or Timberline. Or check out the snow parks along Hwy 35.
Golfers, Indian Creek Golf Course in Hood River Oregon

Rock Climbers, there are a couple crags; fifteen to thirty minutes away. Smith Rock State Park, a world-class climbing destination, is two hours South.

Mountain Bikers, take a short ride to Post Canyon. This gorgeous area offers miles of trails, freestyle riding and stunt parks.
Cyclists, Mosier Tunnel Trail is free of mortorized vehicles and has outrageous views of the Columbia River.

Skaters, there is a local free skate park off of Cascade st, across the street from Subway Sandwiches. Also the Mosier Tunnel Trail is a great down hill ride.

We had a great time at this location. We were two families that spent lots of time wandering the lovely gardens, picking vegies and flowers and preparing healthy food. The walk to the river was beautiful and the many activities in close range - windsurfing, hiking, swiming was a blast. I would go back in a second.

Our stay was lovely here! The house really is a charming lifesize dollhouse. Eating fresh organic fruits and veggies daily was a delightful treat. The stroll to the river through the ancient oak forest was so beautiful. This is a good place to slow down and enjoy a country lifestyle. Watching the horses running wild in the field from our bath tub upstairs was very fun for the kids. Basking in the sun by the gorgeous hood river was super relaxing! Highly recommend this sweet place to anyone who wants to be real close the action of town but have a true nature experience.
