Description of the Hoonah vacation home rental

Looking out the large windows on Fredric Sound, you will see whales, seals, eagles fly past your window or on the outside deck, as you enjoy your morning coffee.
The home can sleep 6 people in 2 bedrooms, 1 with a King size bed and two queen beds in loft. A nook of the loft that can be used for mats and sleeping bags. 1 bathroom with shower and tub, washer and dryer, full kitchen, large living-room, Radio, CD player, Tv, no cable. Oil heat.

Area Information

Wild life in abundant, Sight seeing, walking, charters etc. Airport 2 miles away, fishing charters, small boat rentals. Ferry to other villages. Juneau 30 min. away by plane.

Great shopping, food and Zip line at the end of the village. The buildings were once where they processed fish to be shipped. Now restored with gift shops of native made products, canned fish etc. Restaurant on the beach, One of the longest zip lines in US.
