Hoopers Island is the place to relax, to read, to swim in the pool, to fish, cook out, and read some more. Put the book down at dusk though for sensational sunsets. The sun sets over the western shore of the Cheseapeake Bay and this Shangri-La has the very best view from the large screened in porch. We have a dock so bring your skiff and catch bushels of blue crabs, we have a cooker too. Night falls and Direct TV has all the movies if you want. Large Kitchen, Ice Maker, blenders, dishwasher. The Pool is a real bonus, maintained by ClearWater Pools. Large yard for frisbee, croquet, throwing baseball. There is a store close by, and a restaurant within 500 yards. Little traffic and flat roads make biking and walking desirable and safe. I can put you in touch with a great charter captain for fishing or a cruise around. Two bedroom Ranch Home, large Ceramic Tile room on ground level with more windows than walls. NIce furniture, indoor dining table but most meals on on the porch watching boats go by, birds fly by, time going by.

Area Description

Hoopers Island is south of CAmbridge Md about 25 minutes. You go thorugh farm country and Black Water Wildllife Refuge. Once a thriving Watermans Village, the majority of residents still work the water or related careers. Very Quiet little traffic. No bars, one restaurant(OLD SALTY'S). The famous HYatt is up in Cambridge. Bring grilling food. Best stars on the East Coast. Sit in the Hot tub and catch a falling Star.
