Description of the Hornby Island vacation home rental

Holiday on Hornby Island on a wonderful secluded getaway on a 1/2acre, yet only a short walk to the beach and all amenities. Sleeps seven comfortably with an additional two fold outs in the living room. Large claw-foot tub with mosaics and a large sky light right above. Many outside sleeping spaces: a bedroom, and tree fort. Many of ours guests love sleeping on top of the treefort under the brilliant stars. There is even a large fire-pit near the garden. A great place for kids of all ages. There is a trapeze in the living room, hammocks, a large good quality trampoline, gardens, fruit trees and lots of peace, tranquility and privacy. High speed INTERNET and computer included as well as all bedding, dishes and it's fully furnished and ready to accommodate you. This is a wonderful place to build lasting memories.

Area Description

Hornby Island has some of the best beaches along the west coast. It is a small forested island surrounded by ocean and beautiful mountains and abundant wild life. The sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. Lots of amazing, and famous off road biking trails. Hornby is an island of artists, so you will see more art, music and theatre than you have probably ever seen in such a small community. You will definitely understand the term 'star struck', after you have relaxed under the clear starry sky. Activities include diving, (hornby is famous for the six gilled shark and huge octopi), water sports of all kinds, can rent kayaks and canoes, hiking, biking, markets, studio tours,a village centre, fishing tours, boat rental, and much more.

Oh my gosh I never knew a bath could be so exotic. I sat in the tub with rose petals and some of the bath oil you left us and the sun was beating in through the skylight, such luxury. I was also mesmerized by all the mosaic work. Yep, I definitely understand the decadence of a bath now. Thanks
