Description of the Houlton vacation apartment rental

Beautiful upstairs lake view camp located on Conroy Lake in Monticello, Maine. Great place to relax and be entertained at the same time. The bottom floor hasa pool table, pingpong table and weight set. Outside you can play horseshoes, swim in the lake, fish, canoe and boat.

Area Description

Conroy Lake is one of the deepest lakes in Maine at 106 feet. It is about 25 acres of peaceful serenity. We have resident loons, as well as other water fowl. A pine plantation surrounds the lake with hiking and recreational trails. Surrounding area is close to golf, hiking, and local festivals. Fall and hunting season are a perfect time to enjoy this beautiful area. Monticello is a small town where people will remember your name even after a week! We are home to the famous BLUE MOOSE restaurant, that is reason enough to try us out.

My family and I live on a busy street in Auburn and the first thing I noticed was no traffic noise, sirens, or beeping horns. We brought our dirt bike and 4-wheeler and rode some of the most beautiful trails around, not far from the camp. Our dog Shadow even made a friend. Our last day came and it was hard to go. Cari is great she made sure our stay comfortable. We are hoping to go again.

This was my families first time to Maine (from Oregon) and they loved every minute! Thanks Cari and Jon for the perfect week -- everything was wonderful. We especially loved the horseshoes, fire pit, and water toys. If we're ever back in Maine, we'd stay here for sure.

Oh, how we didn't want to go home. The downstairs became a hub of activity as we hosted friends and family, entertaining the young and old alike. Jon and Cari thought of every detail from a kitchen with a variety of cooking needs to an internet connection to a video system for the kids. Everyone was sooo happy, even our dog! Can't wait to come back again.

We had a very relaxing and quiet week at the cabin. The amenities were exactly as described. Cari was super helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay successful.Thank you too for allowing us to bring our dogs--they had a fabulous time as well.
