Description of the Hudson vacation home rental

Located in the gated community of the Highlands, we are minutes away from all the best vacation locations.

Our home was built in 2006 and is approximately 1950 square feet. It has 3 bedrooms, with either king size (2) or queen size (1) beds and 2 bathrooms.

Beautiful modern and fully furnished, with all the necessary accessories to make your vacation enjoyable. Including high speed and wireless internet. The large, open concept kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave etc. and adjoins the spacious family room. A large living/dining room with a queen size sofa bed allowing a total of 8 people to be comfortably accommodated.
The patio is fully screened and is complete with a barbecue and large dining table with comfortable chairs. Looks out onto a large open space.
The complex swimming pool is close by.

Area Description

Beaches, golfing, swimming, fishing, amusement parks, restaurants and shopping are all within easy reach. Hudson Beach, with its waterfront dining and beautiful sunsets is just 2 miles away.

Tampa International Airport and Busch Gardens are 45 minutes drive away. Disney, Sea World and all the attractions of the Orlando area are 1 ½ hours drive.

You will be close to:

Gulfview Square Mall anchored by Macy's, Dillard's, JCPenney, and Sears and more than 100 specialty stores including Best Buy, Linens 'n Things, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, the Gap Outlet.

An indoor/outdoor flea market with fresh fruit and veggie stands.

Challenging golf courses, well-known restaurants, shopping plazas and specialty shops, supermarkets (Super WalMart, Publix and SweetBay), Casino boat, banks,physicians and pharmacies (CVS and Walgreens).

North (20 Min) is Weeki Wachee Springs and South (20 Min) is the famous Greek fishing community of Tarpon Springs with specialty shops,greek restaurants, and the white sandy beaches of Howard Park.

Further south are two of the best beaches in Florida ... Clearwater Beach in Clearwater and Caladisi Island State Park in Dunedin.

We stayed here in December of 2008. The home was perfect for our family in a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. The house is comfortable and beautiful. The shopping in the area was fantastic, and the sales were out of this world. Make sure you try Sam's in the Harbor for dinner and sunset! It is only a 90 min drive to Orlando and we absolutely loved Tarpon Springs. There is a lovely beach - Pine Island I think it is called and it was great for a walk (it was a little chilly for a swim). We will definately go back!
