Description of the Hudson vacation home rental
Our home is 3200sq and very roomy with 4 bedrooms 3 Queen,1King and 4 baths, 2 sofa sleeper's, baby crib and a roll-a-way bed. A large kitchen with breakfast bar and dining room facing the canal, the kitchen is fully equipped, ceramic tile throughout lower level, 2 patio doors open to poolside for much relaxation. The upstairs has a private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the Bird Sanctuary. The master bedroom has a king size bed. All rooms have satelight tv's including the family room and FREE wi-fi just bring your laptop.. The property also has an observation/sun- deck over the boatlift.. The Home faces the West which allows for some "BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS"Private heated pool (extra charge to heat pool $20.00 extra daily)

Dear Marylou & Henry, Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home with us. When we opened the door we were in awe. The view of the pool & canal was amazing, there were a few lites on in case we arrived late and music was playing inside and out. The house is well maintained and clean and everything was better than described. We enjoyed meeting you both and the information you gave us on the house, area restaurants, beaches, & things to see came in handy. Sam"s and Get Hooked were great places to eat. After our morning coffee we would go kayaking (once we saw a manatee & a dolphin) - then we would enjoy the heated pool before we went out exploring. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week and we hated to leave but we are hoping to come back next year. We highly recommend this property....you will NOT be disappointed! Thanx again Steve & Diane

ML, My mother, sister, and I had the most relaxing vacation ever at your beautiful home. So nice that we each had our own 'space.' meaning our own bedroom and bathroom. I had the master, and it was huge along with the little balcony facing the bird sanctuary. I loved sitting there. Your home is so spacious that sometimes the three of us would not know where the others were. :) Enjoyed sitting by the pool, on the dock next to the water, and the balcony above the canal. Your pool was heavenly, too. Just like swimming in a nice, warm bath. We did make it to the Sponge Docks. VERY interesting place to experience. The Flea Market just to the south was quite an experience, too. The area seafood was also delicious. Thank you so very much for one of the nicest vacations ever. A very nice house in a very nice location. a wilder area of florida away from the beaten track this house has everything to offer and we loved the atmosphere created by the owners as well as the availability of cayak canoes. The sun deck is perfect for bird watching we loved observing the fauna and flora as well as the aigret which came to fish on the dock with us; A perfect location for families with children, This house was perfect for us ....thank you Mary Lou for making this week so special for us !

Great rental home

This rental home met all of our expectations and then some. The owners were very caring and gracious and we had all the comforts of home. The pool was our favorite part and being able to see gorgeous sunsets daily was a delight. The canal and bird preserve was a definite plus. We would rent again in the future.

We really enjoyed out stay here it was a real dream home. Everything was really great there. There was 10 of us and we were all very pleased . Just loved being close to shopping and things for the kids to do. We were not very far from our 2 reunions. It is defffinately a place that we woul stay again. It was an awesome experience. Nice view of the ocean, clean and hygenic, a lovely pool and above all spacious! The kids also had a blast in there. Overall a fantastic place for spending quality time with freinds and family.

Hi Mary Lou! Thank you so much for such a perfect vacation! The home fit our vacation needs perfectly! With the fishing dock right in the back and the comfortable swimming pool too, we could not have asked for better! The house was beautifully set up and well stocked for us. The supermarket was nearby, so we were able to enjoy a lovely vacation without driving more than ten minutes away from the house durring the entire stay. This was the best get away weekend. We made it a ladies wkend. The place was perfect we all had our own rooms and bathrooms. Watching the sunset was great. The home was so clean and yet comfortable. There were even tvs in every room. We are planning an even larger event for another great weekend and plan on using this place as it is so perfect. Everything you can think of is real close by yet it is peaceful when you retire in the evening I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay and have a wonderful time

Like home away from home, really comfortable and spacious. The pool is perfect and the boat dock on the canal leading to the Gulf provided many hours of kayaking fun. The house was so clean and big enough for all 9 of us each bedroom has it's own bath. Just Perfect!

To be honest we planned a trip to Florida with a variety of different things to do. But once we got to the house, we stayed there 95% of the time. Having young children sometimes makes it difficult but they were happy the whole trip. It was so beautiful watching the birds every morning and the sun setting over the Gulf every evening. Collecting shells, catching lizards, swimming and kayaking, The whole trip was amazing and long over due! This home was perfect and spacious for us and the other three families that came with us. Will defiantly love to go again in the future and would recommend this property!
