Our vacation pool home is set up comfortably to accept maximum of 8 plus baby.

Area Information

Port Hudson is a beautiful area of the Gulf Coast located approx 40 minutes from Tampa airport and Clearwater. There are several beaches within easy reach. Hudson Beach approx 5 minutes away has a selection of seaside/beach dining and boat/ski hire available. Fabulous fresh sea food to tempt you from the local fishermen too. There's an array of excellent shopping restaurants and entertainment nearby. Walk to Publix supermarket, Rams Diner, out of this world Italian restaurant, Wendy's and Irish bar/grill not to mention bank, CVS & Walgreens pharmacies etc. Outlets and discount designer gear shops within 10 minutes! Gulf view shopping Mall 10 minutes.
A few minutes drive on the coast road US19 and you'll come to SR50 Weeki Wachee (home of the Mermaids) Buccaneer Bay water park and wonderful canoe rental to explore the river ways out to the gulf (look out for some amazing wildlife sights on this 7 mile journey). Pine Island State Park & Beach nearby. So much to see & do in so little time we find....

We loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was large for four people. We had lots of room to spread out and had areas that were cozy for activities we wanted to do. All was in working order. When I had a question, Carolyn emailed me promptly. We would come back again! (If you have a toddler-which we do not- all the furnishing were there. There was a crib and a high chair available for your use).

The accomodations where fantastic, we were mostly golfers and enjoyed 2 rounds almost every day - stopping in the middle of the 14th hole for a drink was a huge bonus when we played the links! Great pool, and spacious living - all the comforts of home! 1 week wasn't enough, we will be returning!

Comfortable and spacious home which is well equipped. The pool area was particularly nice with lovely views of the fairway and a high degree of privacy. Access to the surrounding area is good but a list of local beaches with directions would have been appreciated. The accommodation worked very well for all of us - grandparents, our son and his wife and our two grandchildren. We wish we'd spent more than one week there and would not hesitate to return again another year.

Gorgeous pool area, nice view towards the golf course, spacious house, comfortable rooms, it was much fun to stay there. Quick access to surrounding area.
