A grand 19th Century family home in a quiet street in the middle of Hudson, only five minutes walk from Warren Street with its boutiques and restaurants.

This award winning house has been recently restored and renovated with an unflinching eye on style and comfort by architect and interior designer. High ceilings, beautiful original moldings and details. House offers ample reception space on the ground floor including a television room/library, a grand hallway and staircase, formal sitting room and large dining room. Gourmet kitchen featuring modern appliances and butcherblock surfaces. Upstairs a master bedroom with adjoining luxury bathroom with claw foot bath and marble-tiled shower also features its own private deck. Two other guest rooms share a second bathroom upstairs. An office with adjoining full bathroom on ground floor can also be used as fourth bedroom. Garden doors from kitchen and dining room access expansive deck for relaxing and entertaining with a generous lawn garden below. 2 car in site parking.

Beautiful and Charming Home

I rented the Villa Sofia as a surprise weekend getaway for my partner. Just 2 hours from NYC on Amtrak and we arrived at the stately yet comfortable home - such a retreat from the city life. Walking distance to Warren Street - no car rental needed. The home was restored and everything is vintage - yet brand new finishes. The huge claw foot tub was amazing and we had such a relaxing time. I will definitely rent this home again and I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants a great weekend away.
