Description of the Huntington Lake vacation condo rental

3/3 Condo in newer development. Close to Sierra Summit for winter skiing and view of Huntington Lake for summer water sports. Excellent Hiking opportunities. Year-round snow removal and on-site parking within condo complex. During winter months, chains and / or 4WD required for Shaver Lake / Huntington Lake access.

Area Information

Condo is located at 7,200 feet elevation, and has a partial view of Huntington Lake, full view of Sierra Summit and surrounding mountains. Hiking above the condo leads to Kaiser Peak. Horseback riding, restaurant, store, marina within one mile.

wonderful family reunion

January 8, 2013

We so enjoyed our time in the condo and on the slopes. The accommodations were very comfortable. We did miss the part about no fireplace and brought wood, oh well. Everything else was lovely.

Sorry about the Fireplace, but CC&R's limit what we can do....we've considered a pellet stove, and may pursue that this year. All the best to you, and glad to see our SLO County neighbors are getting up to the snow. Thanks for your kind words.

One Wonderful Week

July 19, 2012

We arrived on Friday July 6th for the High Sierra Reggatta and then the Natinal Championship for Day Sailors. It was a magnificant week of beauty and sailing. The accomodations in our #10 Condo were excellent. We enjoyed evenings on the deck and days on the water. It was trully a Five Star Week. We left on July 13th.

The condo is very nice, and we really enjoyed the fact that it has been remodeled. It is so close to the ski area, the hottub pool area, and the lake it's extremely convenient. We definately would stay there again.

Wonderful location, pleasant stay

January 19, 2011

We just spent our second vacation at this unit, and will probably be back next year. The condo is comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located very close to the ski resort. We really appreciated the easy parking, as we ended up having three vehicles. The 3/3 setup was nice to have, especially considering the downstairs master suite is quite roomy. Being able to do laundry is an added plus that we took advantage of since we were there for 3 days/nights. Also, a nice bonus was the open hillside just across the driveway- while some of our party was out skiing, the rest of us were able to take the little ones there for some playtime in what felt like our own private snowpark. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the unit was comfortably furnished and well maintained. Just be sure to pack all linens, extra paper goods(paper towels, tp, kleenex), and detergents for the washing machine and dishwasher. We forgot to bring a couple kitchen towels, but luckily had brought plenty of paper towel rolls. We prepared all our meals there, so extra trash bags and ziplocs or foil/saran wrap are nice to bring as those are also not supplied.
