Description of the Hutchinson Island vacation condo rental

The unit is located on the 7th fairway with an ocean peak in Ocean Village. The unit was completlely renovated and new furnishings and acessories were purchased in 2006. The one bedroom and one bathroom with an additional dressing area with sink is located on the top floor of three story condominium building with an elevator just outside the door.The cathedral ceilings with clearstory windows along with sliding glass doors and window gives the place an open, airy and bright feeling. Enjoy a view of a sunrise and an ocean view peak from the screened in balcony that over looks golfers below. The open floor plan flows from the kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, pass the island bar and into the family room, complete with flat screen tv and pull out coach. Pocket doors open up to the bedroom with a king size bed,another flat screen tv and desk with computor. The dressing area and bathroom both have granite tops as well.Free WIFI and furnished for all your needs.

Ocean Village is an award winning, beautifully landscaped with gardens and ponds,gated community with over 3000 feet of private beach and miles more of protected beach.The 108 acre private community has a nine hole executive golf course, tennice pro shop with ten lighted tennice hard and clay courts,oceanside restaurant with sports and piano bar,tiki bar, olympic sized heated pool,main clubhouse, several smaller pools and clubhouses,kidddy pool, jacuzzi, sauna,gym and exercise room and golf driving cages,bocci and shuufle board courts and basketball court. Surf fishing, swimming, biking, bocce ball, beach volleyball,sea shell collecting, shuffle board and quite walks.
The recently renovated historic downtown Ft. Pierce is only minutes away. There are excellent restaurants, bars,shopping,marina, library, Friday night festivals and saturday morning food and arts market.
Within a two hour drive you can spend the day in CoCo Beach,Orlando or Palm Beach. Within three hours you can be in Miami or Miami Beach.

Wonderful Condo Resort

We very much enjoyed our 3 weeks at the Condo in Ocean Village! The condo was very comfortable (quality bed and furniture), nicely decorated, very well equipped (kitchen/laundry) and very clean. We were very impressed and appreciative of all the supplies for our stay; all we had to purchase to make our stay complete was our groceries. It was our first time renting a condo privately and we will definitely do it again. Ocean Village facilities were also better than expected with beautiful, huge, uncrowded pool and hot-tub and well equipped gym. The beach was outstanding; fine sand, uncrowded, shells galore and warm, clean, pristine water. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and interlaced with a variety of colorful, manicured shrubs, trees and ponds with friendly turtles. There was also a variety of wildlife; herons, cranes, possum and other birds. All staff, guests and residents were friendly. We felt very much at home here.

We stayed here in Dec/10 and loved it! I had never rented off the internet before, so I was a little worried that it wouldn't live up to our expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is even nicer than in the pictures! The owner is a great guy - he made us feel completely at home. Ocean Village is a wonderful complex - well maintained, safe and quiet, with something for everyone.
