I happened to find the ad on this condo by mistake and I was glad that I did! It was nice and clean and I was thrilled that we were able to take our dog. The owners were very nice and very pleasant. I thought the ocean was a little closer but I could still see it from a distance. I would stay here again!

Peaceful & Relaxing - Ready to Go Back!

This was an awesome vacation! It was just my husband and I staying at this well decorated and clean, clean condo. It had everything we needed from beach towels to a completely stocked kitchen. My husband loved the free par 3 golf course. He played everyday, you could walk out of your condo and be on the first hole. The Tiki Bar and pool are great too! You can get a cheeseburger with fries for only $4.00! There are also great places to eat very close to the resort. The beaches are very natural with sand dunes and if you are a shell seeker, this is a great beach. I can't say enough good things about this place, I truly loved it and was very sad to leave my new found paradise.

The first thing my husband and I noticed about Ocean Village was how unbelievably friendly everyone was. It was almost like walking into Stepford village. Residents and workers alike were quick with the smiles, waves and positive comments. What a nice, nice environment! We spent most of our month playing golf and cannot say enough good things about Beth and her staff. Tee times were never a problem (you could make them up to 5 days in advance), green fees for 9 holes was a paltry $3 ($2 more to rent a pull cart), the course was in great condition (especially considering the amount of play), there was always something going on (fun tournaments, putting contests, golf clinics), and the golf staff themselves made everyone feel like we were all old friends who belonged to the same exclusive little country club. Aside from the golf, I also enjoyed the beach (as did our dachshund), The Inn (and their great food and happy hour), and the torture chamber--I mean the exercise room (though don't forget your ID bracelet or the wrist band nazi will get you!). Also, the grounds throughout the entire resort were lush and very well-kept. What a totally satisfying vacation. Most people we met had been vacationing here for 20+ years and considered it a well-guarded secret. I can see why.

Overall the unit we stayed in was wonderful. There were a few small things we had to deal with, but nothing major. Owners are great to work with and handled everything right away. We have to be back in the area next week and are staying in this unit again as it suited our purposes and needs just right. You won't be disappointed if you pick this unit for a short getaway or a longer vacation, everything is in walking distance but we didn't really consider it Oceanfront, but rather Oceanview.

Real vacation!!Beautiful Location, well maintained condo, with close acess to wonderful beach. Lots to do, quiet, and very friendly people. Perfect for 2 people , may be tight for 4. Really enjoyed the screened-in deck. Pool(s) was perfect! Lots of reading material, and movies. Close to shopping, and beach walking was awesome. Only issues >couldn't rent golf clubs as they were closed for the season and this was part of the attraction, only one beach chair and suppose to be a BBQ but couldn't locate it and unable to contact owners for advice. BUT "Ed" came through with clubs for us as he graciously gave us his and his wife's clubs for our use and the golf course was a highlight. Would definitely return again and looking at next year , hoping they have a 2 bedroom so we can take friends.

Our Florida Vacation

This was our first time using Vacation Home Rentals and it won't be the last. We plan on using this method more often in planning our vacations. The condo we stayed in was very nicely decorated and comfortable. It was a little smaller than we originally thought, so it will definitely only sleep 4, but 2 comfortably in the bedroom with a very comfortable King Bed. This condo is definitely great and comfortable for 2 people, but wouldn't recommend more than that. Make sure you take your personal needs (toilet paper, bath soap, shampoo, etc) as they are not provided. The amenities of the village and the village itself was great! We definitely had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation at this property!

I have just had the most fabulous holiday in and around Hutchinson Island, this Vacation Condo was perfect, it had every facility and was spotlessly clean, it was in the ideal location not far from any where in Florida, 2hours to Miami, 2hours to Daytona, i am English when Booking the accomadation the owners were very helpful, especially when sorting out the exchange rate. i can definately recommend this property.

My family stayed in this Condo last July. The unit was "attention to detail" equipped. This was a beautifully decorated unit with high end furniture and accents throughout. It's close location to the main pool and just walking distance to the beach was perfect. Working with the owners was seamless. The price was very competitive to other units in the area, but for the money this one beat out all others.
